Pastisseria Tornés — Restaurant in Girona

This place is pretentious and snobby... I've just come out of physio so I'm in tracksuit type casual clothing. I was looked up and down by these people like I was a hobo!! Coffee not too bad... looking forward to see how much they charge me! I will not be coming back so they can enjoy my hobo money!! I would not recommend this place unless you are in an evening gown, then you will fit right in!! I haven't been in the Pastisseria just the café... this comment is for the rude and unwelcoming staff in the café, you made a potentionally great space an awkward and cold place! Fatal. Fui a desayunar 2 minis y dos cafés, 10'50€... Tardaron en venir a la mesa y eso que nos veían. Cuando nos tomaron nota, yo pregunté de qué embutidos podrían ser...? Bueno, no paró de repetir que tenía que ir a la barra a mirar solo lo que tenían, finalmente para no levantarme , porque no me daba la gana, pedí uno de los que me dijo que sí tenían... Esperamos 10 minutos, primero le trajeron el mini a mi acompañante, después trajeron mi americano, después vino y me dijo que no tenían el mini que yo había pedido y por último trajeron el café con leche. ¿Es correcto lo que pagué? Porque para toda esta tocadura de narices, me parece que tenía que haber pagado 1€. ¿Pueden ser más incompetentes? Nada que ver con la pastelería y porque es para llevar. El servicio es super antipático y una de las camareras , que creo que es marroquí, trata fatal a sus compañeras, supongo que debe ser la encargada, pero vaya .. que todo se...

You have to visit Tornés to try the authentic Xuxo. The best in Girona, being well balanced between pastry and cream. Don't give them a 5 star because coffee is not special at all. The place is pretty. Is not located in the best part of the city also. Not as centric as...
