Gastro Bar & Tapas Qubba — Restaurant in Granada

This restaurant manages the food at Hotel Saray, a 4 star Hotel in Granada. When I was dining with my husband one of the things I ordered was a pizza margarita. When the pizza came it looked very cheap but I still gave it a go. It had a cheap sweet taste and the dough was terrible. To my disappointment and surprise the pizza is a cheap frozen, store-bought one. This is a €3 pizza and they charge more than €18 for it in their tapas menu. When I called and confronted one of the staff members with the situation the response was "we are not pizzaiolos so we serve frozen pizzas. I'm sorry the food was not your liking" I'm completely appalled by this.!

I'm attaching photos so everyone can see exactly what I'm talking about. I have no words for this this never happened to me. I'm very disappointed and I'm leaving Granada with a very bitter taste. I can see in other reviews the that this is an ongoing issue. Also I could see by the staff reply that they have no shame on it. I was also told "I'm not the one buying the food".

So the restaurant that is in charge of a 4-star hotel deceives the customer, has no quality, and no accountability . The most grave situation is that this is actually a form of fraud.

Celebrando la graduación de mi sobrino nos dieron un salón privado muy bonito e ideal para los 12 que eramos. Teníamos ya contratado un menú para los 10 adultos y los dos niños. Al llegar el camarero nos impuso donde se tenían que sentar los niños, yo que soy muy protocolario me molesto que los obligara a sentarse en la presidencia, pero repito que no fue una sugerencia nos dijo los niños tienen que sentarse aquí. Ni nos ofrecieron un baso de agua, pero como había una mesa auxiliar pude beber agua y un vino servidos por mi. El menú de los niños lo resumo rápido peor que en el comedor del cole, la pasta pasadisima, los fritos quemados, todo de muy baja calidad. Los adultos teníamos unos entrantes al centro descritos con mucho adorno jamon y queso (decentes pero de abrir envase y servir) ensalada de pollo confitado al garam masala....... con vinagreta de yogur que solo sabia al vinagre de modena ( lo que claramente indica que la ensalada llevaba hecha desde por la mañana) un surtido de croquetas decente y una ensaladilla rusa basta con las patatas enormes con poca mayonesa y lo peor caliente, no poco fría, caliente. Después llego la carrillera sobre parmentier de chirivia trufada con vegetales y jugo de Merlot, esto ya tomadura de pelo: la carrillera seca, sobre sobrecocinada el parmentier no era de chirivia era de patata sin triturar y ni rastro de trufa los vegetales dos espárragos y dos bastones de zanahoria y el jugo era una salsa gelatinosa sin sabor ninguno y para rematar todo el plato no frio, helado como si llevara emplatado 30 min. El postre lo mismo seminario de turrón..... insulso y sin sentido. Todo ello con mucha espera entre platos y teniendo que pedir las bebidas has ta tres veces, yo me levante tres veces a la mesa auxiliar para servirme y servir a los demás. Para terminar el espectáculo pedimos que ciertos platos que habían sobrado nos los pusieran para llevar y nos trajeron los envases para que nosotros los rellenaremos con lo que nos queríamos llevar. Ni cocina ni servicio a la altura de un hotel de cuatro estrellas. Decepcionante y poco recomendable. Porque no pagaba yo pero poco se...

I'd like to start by saying the waiters were nice and attentive, I had a coffee and it was good.

But the food, wow it's disgusting, its the worst food I've had in Granada, if you want just a drink, no tapas or a coffee go for it.

But avoid the menu like the plague, everything tastes bad, definitely the worst burger I've ever had, I couldn't even eat it.

All of the produce just didn't taste right, the olives were weird, the tomatoes tasted wrong and for the price you pay, it's just not worth it.

I was surprised because the overall review were good. They really need a new chef or something,...
