We stayed in Granada for 2 days as a part of our Andalusia road trip in April 2025, Easter Day and the next (20th and 21st) and we really enjoyed so much that we wanted more days and the hotel played a part in it. Situated very well near the city center (1 km from the Cathedral and 500 m from Fuente De Las Batallas) allows you to stroll to the city center in just a few minutes. The Hotel offers parking, only if you book specifically parking place in advance, because most often all places are occupied. There are a few free parking places outside opposite to the hotel, if you are lucky and the very near underground parking by the river had an agreement with the hotel for the tenants (18€ per day but can't go out and in whenever you want - you have to leave it for as long as you stay). It was a bit difficult to understand the exact agreement. In the reception when we arrived (very good and warm and helpful first contact with hotel staff) we were told that we would pay at the Hotel and get our ticket out, but two days later leaving, another less helpful and less polite and surely less patient member of the staff in the reception said that the agreement no longer existed and that we should pay at the parking for 20€/day. When we complained he made a call and we paid the agreed amount of money at the hotel and took the ticket we had to show in the cashier of the parking and get a new one (a bit messy and unprofessional way of handling parking). Apart from this the hotel was very good. The rooms were spacious and well maintained, crystal clear, with very good bathroom with shower and all the amenities were offered (In all 4* hotels in Andalusia we couldn't find any slippers). We are a family of 4 and we booked 2 consecutive rooms. The Hotel is not cheap, on the contrary it was a bit expensive. Generally Granada was the most expensive city in whole Andalusia. Breakfast was good (not very good or exceptional, but a bit better than fair enough) and the breakfast room was nice and luminous. Apart from the Lobby and breakfast restaurant, we didn't visit other common hotel areas, but we saw there were meeting rooms and bar etc. We stayed in the first floor and it was very quiet and cosy. Although maybe staying in the old town might be better experience (surely more expensive) we enjoyed our stay and had good rest that we much needed. If I was asked, I would surely recommend it for staying in Granada, considering the very high prices we found and we...
Read moreA well deserved 5-star review. Service is superb, interior is clean and accommodating and the breakfast buffet was good but nothing special. Plus, its central location is perfect for a city trip.
More details one 4 categories: #1 Interior Detailed decoration and warm colours on the sofas of the lobby deliver a cozy and welcoming first impression. This is carried across the 8 stories of the hotel and our room. The bathroom’s interior was excellent. The tiles, the use of space. All executed in a high level manner. The constraing black and white might seem dull and like a no-brainer but its about the details. The black finished wood, the white marble. It all comes together nicely.
#2 Service The checkin was smooth and very friendly. The gentlemen who check us in wears a mustache. So big thanks to your very accommodating style of customer service.
There is a roof top bar and restaurant from where you have a phenomenal view over the city and the area around it. Check my photos to get a taste. I was up there during a thunder storm with lightning. This was a winning combination for great pictures.
The room service starts at 1930.
#3 Location The city centre is right in front of your door step. We could even see the Alhambra from our room. There are so many restaurants around the hotel. Choose and enjoy. Be aware that most of them open only around 1930 or 2000. There are supermarkets right around the corner. 1x Carrefour Express and 1x Mercadona.
#4 Arrival by car We came by car. There are 2 underground parking garages. 1 right next to the hotel which has a high of 1,90m. 1 just across the street and this one has a high of 2,00m. The hotel has a parking bay directly in front of the main entrance. So you can conveniently park there, do the check in and unload your car. Then choose 1 of the 2 garages.
#5 bonus tip You can safe money when you book the breakfast the night before the actual breakfast. We paid 10€ for breakfast per person...
Read morewhat a lovely experience. george one of the front desk leader is a gem. all the team were great same as the lady who stayed all day during electric breakdown and the other young gentleman with darker hair & a little beard if m not mistake who went up and down 100 times with many customers. but I didn't get the name ,everyone were just excellent, genuine, professional. the hotel itself take you to andalusia with the room decore the lobby ceiling the stairs . it really felt like a luxury hotel & the cleanliness 10/10.
