We were attracted to the restaurant by the fantastic smell of fried fish and mussels. The food certainly didn't disappoint - in fact, it was even better than we expected. As we went in the evening and had to bring our dogs with us, we had to stand at the bar table outside. Despite being the only table outside while the inside of the restaurant was full, our waiter, Ruben, was more efficient and attentive than the vast majority of waiters I have experienced. The tapas - a very generous portion of fried shrimp - were fantastic. The surtido de pescado was some of the best fried fish we have ever tried in our lives - cooked perfectly in fresh good quality oil, and extremely tender. What surprised me most, in fact, was how many different types of seafood and fish there were. The calamar a la plancha was divine, perfecly charred and tender, served with a garlic and parsely dressing with a fresh tomato salad and a dressing of good quality oil. Read moreUna experiencia terrible de inicio a fin. Teníamos reserva para comer, llegamos puntuales y nos sentaron en la mesa; hasta aquí bien. Pedimos una ronda de bedidas y nos trajerom la tapa, y a partir de aquí ya fue terrible. Pedimos varias raciones, y otra ronda de bebidas. Las tapas de esa segunda roda nunca llegaron, y de hecho tuvimos que recoger las bebidas en la barra porque el camarero ignoraba nuestra mesa. De las raciones que pedimos a las 2.15pm, solo llegaron la mitad a la mesa. Otras mesas llegaron después y fueron servidas antes. A las 4.00pm decidimos ya pedir la cuenta e irnos a nuestro pesar, pues aún no nos habian servido la comida y el camarero solo nos ponía malas caras. Cuando pedimos la cuenta, ni el camarero sabía lo que había servido ni lo que faltaba por servir. Ni una disculpa, solo cara de asco y un 'pues vale'. Creo que no he visto un servicio tan malo en mi vida, ni un camarero tan falto de modales. Teníamos muchas ganas de ir por la comida, pero nos trataron fatal y nos fuimos dos horas después sin poder haber comido. No merece la pena, mucho mejor ir al Cunini por ejemplo, los camareros son todos profesionales y muy apañaos.
Añado después de la respuesta del local: La respuesta lejos de disculparse, echa la culpa a los clientes. No es falta de empatía por mi parte, sino falta de profesionalidad por la vuestra.
