Our dining experience at Sapore a Italia was truly exceptional. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by Danny, who provided excellent customer service throughout our meal. The restaurant offered both indoor and al fresco dining options, and the ambiance was delightful, attracting both locals and tourists.

Now, let's talk about the food. We started with their carbonara, which was nothing short of amazing, earning a solid 9/10 in our books. It was one of the best carbonara dishes we've ever had, perfectly creamy and flavorful. Next up was the bolognese pizza, made from sourdough, and it didn't disappoint either, scoring a solid 9/10. To enhance our meal, we were provided with a spicy chili olive oil and crushed red pepper, adding an extra layer of flavor to our dishes.

To complete our Italian feast, we indulged in a truly authentic tiramisu, which was the perfect sweet ending to our meal. We paired our entrees with carefully selected wine and beer options, which complemented the flavors beautifully. After a long day, came into this restaurant looking forward to dinner. A lot of customers but only two servers. Many of the servers had exasperated looks on their faces, all seeming to be waiting for something. Wife wanted to get out of there, but waiter gave us a table. I asked "are you sure you are not overwhelmed?" "No problem" We were super-thirsty and really looking forward to our first beer. It took 15 minutes just to get a menu. Waiter dropped it off in a hurry and I tried to order a beer. "One minute" he said and ran away. 15 minutes yet later, nothing. Wife and I got out of there. I understand in the restaurant business, sometimes servers don't show up for work. But when that happens, the establishment has to limit the numbers of tables it fills. We were only in Granada for 2 nights and ate here both times after a wonderful first meal. Service was friendly and efficient. We had heard that you needed to book and wre surprised that we were the only customers when we arrived at 20.00. We wanted a real Italian meal, not just pizza or pasta which we don't normally get excited about. And what a meal - my octopus was soft and delicious, preceeded by a massive gin and tonic and accompanied by a crisp pinot grigio. With the meal came some hot bread which was possibly the best I have ever tasted and we realised this was probably used as the pizza base.
