The food is with no doubt good and tasty, but the service is a total mess. We came right after the restaurant opened at 20.00, and was the second guests coming in. After 10 minutes the first waiter came and took the drink order, but after 15 minutes we still haven't received our drinks. Then a lady suddenly came and asked what we would like to order to drink. We told that we already had ordered our drinks at the other waiter, and after 5 more minutes our drinks finally came. A little later they finally managed to take our orders for dinner. My friend ordered a lasagne, and I ordered a kind of baked pasta dish. My friend received the lasagne first and started to eat, and when they finally managed to serve my dish, they suddenly asked who should have the second dish? Well, if we were two people, and ordering two dishes, it shouldn't be that difficult to figure out who's the second dish is ment for? At the same time, and since I had finished drinking my beer, I ordered a bottle of water. Well, the bottle came, but the kork was still on, and instead of giving is two new glasses to the water, we had to drink the water from the glasses we had our other drinks in. After we finished eating and had paid, I wanted to use the toilet. This was kind a shocker to me. The toilet was a mess with urin everywhere! So dirty and filthy all over the place! On my way out I informed the lady at the door about the dirty bathrooms, and said that someone should do a good cleaning, and hopefully quick, but she was rather uninterested! It doesn't matter for me how good the food is, cause when the service is lousy and the staff shows no interest in you, it destroys the whole feeling of going to...
Read moreThe food I had the gluten-free pasta and seafood, and it was really too salty. Even my Spanish girlfriend, who eats much more salty than me, found it salty, and that says something The good thing was that they offered to redo it, and I got the same meal back. They offered it with two empty mussels on top. After a question about it, they answered “they must be in the meal”, but did not find them. That is really a turnoff!! Don’t ever present it like that. PS is still too salty, and the pasta is overcooked.
Have to share this. This is almost to laugh about. When the waiter pick up our plates, in from of my face he empty the plate with the empty shells etc on my dinner plate that is still in front of me so it is easier for him to pick them up. So lucky not any of the sauce went on my clothes.
Ramsey please help these guys.
For the rest: Looking modern, so nice. But many tables. So not really a cosy place. We were there on a Saturday for the honesty. But it is really noisy. The sounds of everybody talking get bounced from the walls.
Conclusion on my experience: I would not ever enter again Maybe they are better in their offer with gluten but without, horrible.
Sorry guys, you have to do so...
Read moreMy spouse and I we’re exhausted from an early morning start in Seville and a full day in Granada touring around when we sought out a simple pizza and bottle of wine before bed.
We’ll that's not what we got.
Alternatively, we enjoyed a large and very well put together set of “individual” pizzas and a superb appetizer (a Burrata salad) - along with a cheaply priced yet delicious Spanish Crianza.
The service, from friendliness to speed of delivery, was well above standard.
Now the decor may seem quite posh, but the crowd and the attitude is very relaxed, so shorts and collared sport shirt for men will fit right in. In fact many restaurant attendees on this busy Friday night we’re families, as this is indeed a local resident spot (not a tourist trap pizza joint).
So we’re not sure why the rating is below 4.5, as last night’s performance (including our quickly boxed leftovers from the very large individual pizzas), were very closer to a 5 out of 5.
Thanks to Rosalinda for such great service and...
