La Qarmita - Libros, Café & Eventos — Restaurant in Granada

Best place in Granada to find some peace in reading. You can read both books that the place provides (not all, some you only buy) and those you bring from home. The service is extremely friendly and the prices are not excessive. There is a dwell time method for consumption that depends on the number of orders you place, which I think is very fair since otherwise you would occupy a table for two hours just ordering coffee! But I think that the best thing was the atmosphere: like you are in a bookstore but more cozy...

Carrot cake was really good. The pakistani chai was possibly the worst chai I've ever had, and I've had a lot of bad chai lattes in Spain. The milk wasn't hot enough for it to properly steep, so it was just warm milk with leaves on top. To their credit, it seemed like the tea itself was good quality, but the execution was just awful. Only 2 stars off for that because chai lattes in Spain tend to be bad, so this isn't that out of the ordinary. Weird seating and ordering process but it...

Siempre voy a esta cafetería muy chula que está ubicada minutos caminando del centro de Granada... y el dueño Germán siempre me atiende con buena energía, una sonrisa, y es muy amable. Ademas, la comida y las bebidas son muyyy ricas (hay muchas opciones Venezolanas/latinas y también hay opciones vegetarianas/veganas). Mi plato favorito es el pan de casabe, que es muy crujiente y se puede agregar toppings como atún, jamón, etc. Las arepas y cachapas también son muy recomendables. Aparte de la comida rica, me encantan los precios - no son tan caros.

Además, hay eventos, libros, juegos de mesa, y WI-FI (que es importante para mi porque trabajo desde mi computadora). Hay música tranquila siempre, y el ambiente es MUY acogedor que puedo pasar horas (pidiendo comida/bebidas cuando mi tiempo se agota - es regla del establacimiento y muy entendible) en mi computadora, charlando con mi mujer/amigos, o leyendo/escribiendo algo.

El horario siempre me conviene, esta abierto TODOS LOS DIAS y si hay cambios, siempre actualizan por la cuenta de Instagram.

Gracias a La Qarmita, me encanta cada experiencia y cada persona que pasa por esas puertas.

P.D. - El baño siempre es limpio y tiene musica a veces jajaja.
