Aljibe — Restaurant in Guía de Isora

On previous visits to El Aljibe we have ordered the Tabla Iberica as a tapas and we have been very pleased with it. On previous occasions, it has been well presented with a variety of meats and cheeses. With this in mind, last night we ordered the same tapas for €14.50 . A small plate came out with one type of white soft cheese and some dry Jamon Serrano. Furthermore, we were not given any cutlery, plates or serviettes. May I add that we visit Playa San Juan on a regular basis and have had this tapas in other restaurants too. We are well aware of how this tapas should be in terms of food and presentation. I think it was so overpriced and poor quality. We will not be spending our hard earned cash in El Aljibe anymore this summer. Fantastic tapa's bar . The tapa's is second to none. Kitchen opens at 1pm just sit outside on the pavement and watch the world go by. With one of Juan's strong coffees or a beer while listening to the local Spanish banter. Service is usually very good.
