I wish I could say it was a lovely lunch. We came on a Thursday and saw it had good reviews, so we gave it a go. There were a few locals but it wasn’t busy. We sat down and were immediately swarmed with flies. We got our drinks quite quickly, and made it clear we needed time but wanted to order food. We were then ignored for over an hour, despite trying to wave down one of the very few staff working (who stood chatting on the phone, hiding in corners, or just pretending they didn’t see us). I managed to eventually grab a waiter’s attention, but by this point, our group was pretty agitated. We didn’t wait long for the food to come out, but by the time it did, the groups that arrived after us had already paid and left. The food was average at best. The pizza was pure salt, carbs, and cheese. I had 2 slices out of 8 and had to get the rest to go. The “tatas locas” (crazy potatoes) were just greasy homemade fries with ketchup and cheese. I asked the waiter for another orange juice, which never arrived. We also requested some more cutlery as he only gave us two sets for a table of four. After realising that neither the orange juice or cutlery was going to be arriving at our table, I stood up and went over to the kitchen to get the cutlery myself, and requested the orange juice at the bar. The bartender was actually very friendly and accommodating. We knew to go back to the bar to get the bill, which to be fair, was much cheaper than I expected. However, what was meant to be a quick little lunch had turned into a whole afternoon, and I won’t soon be returning. Very disappointing for our last-day lunch. You will find much better atmosphere, food, and service 2 minutes down the road at the Ristorante...
Read moreCome in, see the locals sitting, chatting and you know you'll be fine :) The food was good, so was the coffee and after reading about noisy children playing in the square, let me just say that if it weren't for them I'd rate the atmosphere with one star less. We're coming back to try the potage 😊 Cheers and thanks for a great...

We ordered a small plate of chips, not on the menu but obviously available, and were charged 3 euros, rather expensive considering all the...
