We were staying at an apartment in Huesca rented from the owner of this restaurant, and it was just around the corner so went to try it out, and it was so wonderful we went back again the next day. The first experience was on a Thursday evening when Pulperia hosts a weekly Tapas and Copas evening. For €3 you get a drink and a tapas of your choice - we tried the rice with mushrooms and chicken, the octopus, cheese and ham fritter, meatballs in a tasty sauce, tortilla and a coffee flan - all delicious and very generous portions. The place was buzzing despite it being a rainy October evening and the owner, family and friends made us extremely welcome. We reserved a table for lunch the next day. Online we had thought the Menu seemed a bit expensive but in fact it proved to be great value. You can choose from the a la carte or a lunch menu at €20, but we went for the €40 per person. It included a half bottle of wine each, bread, water and coffee. There were 6 starters listed, but you do not have to choose one: you get all of them, with generous portions! So we shared a tomato salad, tuna and anchovies, a plate of Andalucian ham and Manchego cheeses, juicy large prawns with a dip, grilled baby squid and finally tender octopus with pimiento on a bed of potato. From the choice of Mains we had turbot and tenderloin (solomillo) of beef, both served with peppers and fried potatoes and perfectly cooked. We just had room for dessert...... The meal was relaxed, timed and served perfectly, the restaurant is very well managed and a wonderful experience all round. No wonder it is so popular with locals and visitors alike, do go if you can!...

An excellent family run bar-restaurant for an authentic taste of local delicacies around the Huesca area. 2 minutes walk away from the Plaza de Cathedral but away from some of the tourist traps around the main square. Definitely try the Sepia (squid-like seafood dish) and champiñon-longaniza (mushroom-Spanish Aragonian sausage dish) as these are some great local dishes you probably won´t find in other parts of Spain. The owners Clemente and Pilar are lovely. Great service and very accommodating with my half-baked Spanish. Very...

Pleasant ambience and skillful waitress. Turbio as wine. We complained: tomato salad and pulpo were too salty. Immediate reaction from the chef, tasted it herself and fully agreed with us, she felt very bad about it, 1000 apologies. Offered us a new plate of pulpo, this time prepared by herself; no way to refuse. And it was absolutely delicious indeed, what a treat! Only paid half of the salad. Honest hospitality to the...

When you have days when a lot of places are closed, you get an opportunity to discover. Fortunately, I happened upon this one. A lively seafood bar/ restaurant that also does cidre! Great service, friendly staff, and good food. What's not to want here? I do like the split format of bar / restaurant depending upon how you feel. Personally, I always prefer to eat at the bar 😉. Good stuff 👏.

The restaurant is decorated nicely with sea elements. It’s joyful dining here. We were attracted by the Gallega octopus photo and ordered it plus grilled squid. The grilled squid eventually outperformed the octopus dish. Portion wise it is in the medium size compared with other restaurants.
