América Restaurante — Restaurant in Ibiza

We were a table of 7 and ordered several dishes and drinks. A couple of issues really stood out:

Water service When they served water, they did not bring sealed bottles with lids. Instead, it was unclear where the water was coming from. To be sure, we ordered three bottles, but none came properly sealed. Each was already opened and filled with what seemed like tap water. This was disappointing and raised concerns about quality and transparency.

Service The lady who served our food was very kind and attentive, but unfortunately, the rest of the staff showed a lack of professionalism. Some were dismissive and even rude. For example, when I asked a staff member near the cashier to double-check my bill (a completely normal request for any customer), his only response was a rude “check.” This was unnecessary and unhelpful.

As a customer, I believe everyone deserves to be treated equally and respectfully, regardless of whether they look like a tourist or not. For context, I live in Ibiza, but even if I didn’t, good hospitality should not depend on assumptions...

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!

Extremely Disappointing Experience I had a terrible experience at this place. I ordered poached eggs, and unbelievably, it took over an hour for them to arrive. I had to remind the staff not once, but three times, and each time I was met with indifference and borderline rude attitudes. There was no apology or explanation for the delay.

When the food finally arrived, it was a complete letdown—the poached eggs were poorly made, overcooked, and lacked any seasoning or presentation. Considering the wait, I expected at least a decent meal, but it was honestly inedible.

The overall atmosphere felt chaotic, and the staff seemed overwhelmed and unprofessional. It’s clear that customer service is not a priority here. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was unacceptable from start to finish. Definitely would not recommend and won’t...

A very strange (mostly empty each night) little place with a rude male young staff member on both occasions during our week at ses figueretas. We came to sit outside for a drink and asked the waiter -who was busy ignoring us talking to his friends, would it be ok to put the cushions on the long seat as we would like to sit outside. He mumbled something we didn't understand and continued talking to his friends. We thought that was so rude, especially as there was hardly anyone there so he wasn't busy. We waited a little while but after being ignored we walked on and went to the much nicer Oli bar. We tried a second time asking about the tapas another day, but again the staff member was not interested and was too busy wiping a tabke in an empty restaurant to bother to talk with...
