Club de Playa SHU Talamanca — Restaurant in Ibiza

The restaurant itself as a separate business is great but the beach club… HORRIBLE. I booked the beds one week in advance and when you come they say that you are obliged to order from the restaurant if you want to be in the first or second row. Which we did by going to the restaurant because it was super hot. And then the guy came and started shouting at us, asking us to leave because we didn’t order from the beds 😂 which is ridiculous as we already paid 75 euros for the sun beds and I brought the bill from the restaurant where we left around 100 euros. What’s more we also had breakfast there in the morning where we spent 40 euros more. They started shouting and clapping the bed saying that they are separate businesses ( the beach club and the restaurant) and that we are OBLIGED to order from the beds if we wanna stay. Ridiculous. I honestly wish someone from the restaurant or the mayor will see all these bad reviews here and they change the partners and shut down this horrific beach club. Cause it’s horrible. When u r on holiday you don’t wanna think much or being shouted at when u r paying that amount of money. And at the end instead of apologising and accepting that they were not right they said it’s us who created a problem and acting horrible 😂 RIDICULOUS

What’s more!!! If you order form the bed, the dishes are 10 euros more expensive than at the restaurant which is ridiculous cause people around us even were complaining that the food wasn’t fresh!!! Honestly I got very upset, horrible experience! Avoid it guys...

You could forgive the overpriced food if the quality and service was good but sadly on more than one occasion here you are ignored and greeted with rude staff - unless of course your table is spending a lot of money. I have walked out twice now because you are seated and then forgotten about, waiting 15 mins to even order a drink in the heat is pretty unbearable. Today was really the last straw, they sat me on a table in the back with the bugs, brought me beer with hairs in it, when I said I was just going to leave rather than order because of the terrible service it just got worse. So I wasted 45 minutes, drank nothing and was still charged over 10 euros. They just don't seem to care because they are concentrating on their rich clients yet it's the residents that keep them going through the winter so perhaps they should be more careful that they don't lose...

Not so bad but bcs of sea I wouldn’t recommend… As a part of our cruise we stopped at Ibiza for a couple of hours and tbh didn’t want to go somewhere far (spoiler: PLS take a taxi and go to a proper beach club🙏🏼 ) Walk from the port will take around 15min 2 Sunbeds + umbrella cost 45€. If u wish to stay in 1st or 2nd line from sea it’s a mandatory to order food and staff underlying it 2or 3 times 😄 Food and drinks are ok but definitely OVERPRICED. I mean… even London seems cheaper after this place 😅 Staff is good, but 1 guy(couldn’t get his name) is definitely a character from “zootopia” couldn’t be slower 🤪25 min wait time for a beer - NOT OK 🙈 after that we changed waiter and all was good 👍🏼

However sea is NOT so clean and smells terrible …(on my way back to ship I was followed by THAT smell 🤢) Keep in mind ❗️they DON’T HAVE SHOWER! But toilet clean...
