El Carnicero IBIZA — Restaurant in Ibiza

Hi, I don’t like to be this person (Karen) but I really had to share this. This literally was one of the worst restaurants I have ever been to. We made a reservation in advance and when we arrived on the day we made a booking we had to wait quite a while to be seated. When we got to our table we noticed it was quite a large table and decided to sit at one side of the table, just so we could be close to our friends. Then all of a sudden a group of guys where seated next to us, at the same table.. without anyone telling us or giving us a heads up.. which was a bit strange. The service was really bad and when I say bad I mean really really bad. It took the waiters a very long to take our order and when we tried to get a waiters attention they just nodded and walked away, which was very rude. Then we had to wait very long for our drinks and food to arrive. When the food arrived, we noticed some dishes were missing. Again we couldn’t tell someone, because no one took care of us. We really wanted to leave at this point. We asked for the bill and when the bill arrived I checked the bill and saw that the things that were missing or sent back were still on the bill. When I politely made the waiter aware of this, he rudely rolled his eyes and told me I was lying and that he had seen the dishes on the table. We argued a bit, because I know I was right. I told him that it had never arrived, because no one took anything from our table and it wasn’t there. Eventually he took the things of the bill, we paid en left. The restaurant was beautiful and the food was amazing. However my friends and I had the most humiliating and disturbing experience we’ve ever had in our lives…not even exaggerating, it was horrible. My 5 friends and I celebrated an engagement party at the restaurant, spent well over $1200 and for some reason there was a misunderstanding and on our way out one of the servers ran after us before we could exit yelling in Spanish that we needed to pay for our bill and asked the door guard to close the door. We were in shock and kept telling her that we had already paid and that we didn’t know what she was talking about.

After finally convincing her to go validate that we had paid, she went to check then came back and apologized for the misunderstanding. We were livid. She had created a scene, embarrassed us, locked us inside the restaurant so we wouldn’t leave until she verified. Her and the door guard apologized but this was the worst experience I’ve ever had anywhere and I travel quite a bit.

I will also tell you that all 5 of my friends and I are black. I’ll let you assess and understand what exactly happened here, very sad disappointing and honestly disturbing to have had experienced this at this restaurant we thought was a great and...

Hello I would like to say that this restorant is not worth it not the money not the time and not your interest because.first of all when we wanted to close a table they didn’t even send a mail for the verification and the thing is that you had to pay 50% of the things you will buy.Second is that when we went we had to find on our own a parkining spot for our car and for this class of restorant they don’t even have a guy to find you a park spot.Then when we went in we order everything was too expensive (9€ water bottle)then the food was small except the meat but you had to pay the price for a 1.200gr meat.When the time came to pay they added the show 12euros per person I mean they didn’t even tell us about the show and we didn’t even see anything and that was unacceptable because it was saying on the menu at the finish with very small letters.if you are thinking of even going there DONT GO trust me only the meat was worth it but even that was...
