Started out pretty good, staff is very friendly and nice. Although it started out good, as my days with them were going by, it was extremely hot in the rooms. Cleaning is done on a daily basis so something happened to my towel which was drying .. Also 2 friends came in for exactly 3.7minutes so i could get some stuff (they were helping me carry them). A guy came on the intercom saying he was going to call the police. Thing is both staff members cannot speak any english so it was hard to communicate with them. Called one of them to ask what was going on as my two friends were literally waiting outside the room for 3.7minutes and one of the guys, who cannot communicate in english was telling me he was calling the police. I am not to sure what was going on, we came in quietly without noise. I am not sure if they called the police yet as this juste happened but I felt powerless as nobody understood the actual situation. Nevertheless rooms are ok, no air conditioning, bathrooms are ok. I was disappointed because the staff is actually really nice so I dont understand how the situation went to this. Way too hot and weird for me to...
Read moreWe arrived at the hostel quite late at night around 12pm as our flight from London had been delayed and we obviously had no way of contacting Ceibo on the plane. ||||When we finally arrived outside a sign in the window told us to call a number. While expecting a welcoming and friendly voice at the other end we were laughed at told to check the confirmation email that clearly states absolutely no entry after 9 or 10pm as if we were stupid. When we almost begged them that we had no where else to go with every hotel likely booked in peak season they continued to make fun of us. We even asked if it would be possible to get the 80 euros refunded but that was greeted with more mocking. Eventually they hung up the phone leaving us out on the street with just our suitcases and nowhere to stay for the night. ||||We’ve stayed in hostels all over the world and had a pretty good experience with nothing even close to this appalling treatment. DO NOT STAY HERE unless you want to get ripped off. ||||You may think you’re saving money but it’s not worth the risk of this...
Read moreI almost didn't go to Ibiza because couldn't find good prices even sharing a room. Finally I found this one for 35€ per night single room. The owner said the reception closes at 23:30 but he could wait for me longer cause my flight landed at 23:00. He was extremely nice and helpful, gave my map, explain little things and gave me a towel too.|The room was much better that I was expecting , powerful fan , little bed, little desk, chair and a small fridge !!! The hostel was a flat, there are two full bathrooms which are cleaned minimum twice per day. I saw the guy cleaning in the morning and afternoon and then if he had to come at night to let someone in, he cleans too. Anyway the bucket with the mop is in the bathroom so it's not so complicated to mop a bit the floor every time you have a shower.|It's so close to the port, old town, parties and cheap supermarkets and restaurants. |The only problem is because is so small you can hear everything, but I used my earplugs and it was fine.|I would definitely recommend...
