Trattoria Napoli Dei Borboni — Restaurant in Illescas

This is my thoughts about my visit yesterday at their trattoria:

I'm Sicilian myself and I guarantee you that I felt like eating in a south Italian restaurant!!

I went there with no expectations at all with a bunch of closest friends of my partner , they are local and were saying that was a good restaurant ,so as I had a desire for a Italian food and as I'm nostalgic of it because I leave in England, so I let you imagine it ,

Well , they satisfied me.. .. the correct word is : Outstanding and superb food!!! (and of course all of us)with all the dishes we ordered it (I tasted all of them as I couldn't resist it 🤣)

The restaurant is very cozy -clean , you can feel the south Italian atmosphere with the warm welcome from Raffaella the Owner and her well trained staff, As soon as you get in ..you can smell the fragrance and delicate aroma from the kitchen (by the way:outstanding clean !)

Overall I give 5 stars because I believe she and her staff (the kitchen/waiters and the cleaner deserves it...

Le doy 2 estrellas porque las medidas COVID brillan por su ausencia. Decir que era la primera vez que íbamos a este sitio y habíamos reservado en la terraza. Al ver que era una terraza de paso, les preguntamos a los camareros que si podíamos cenar dentro. En un principio no querían porque si pasábamos tenían que encender el aire acondicionado pero finalmente accedieron. En la terraza había gente del personal del bar que entraban y salían a su antojo SIN mascarilla. La comida sin más, hay mejores opciones en Illescas. Es un sitio al que no volveremos a ir

Añado para contestar a la respuesta del restaurante: las puertas de dentro las teníais abiertas porque dentro hace un calor insoportable con el horno (como es normal). Cuando dijimos de sentarnos dentro, nos insististeis en varias ocasiones que íbamos a estar mejor fuera etc etc y todo porque no queríais poner el aire. Con respecto a lo de que el personal no se acercan a la mesa no es cierto. Nosotros estábamos sentados cerca de la puerta y pasaban constantemente a nuestro lado, cierto es que no nos atendieron pero pasan muy cerca de las mesas, con el riesgo de contagio que eso...

I really enjoyed my meal overall—the dough made from masa madre was excellent, with great texture and flavor. Most of the dishes were well-prepared and satisfying.
