Burger King — Restaurant in Ingenio

The food itself was perfectly fine but otherwise a horrible experience:

The food was ridiculously expensive, I don't know if it's only like that in that specific location or in all Burger Kings. Fries alone were over 4 euros and I saw that most burgers were at least 10 euros which is insane for a fast food place. They straight up didn't give us the full amount of food we ordered and paid for, we ordered 2 fries and only got one, we even checked the receipt and it clearly said "2 fries" as well. We would've gone to the counter to demand the missing fries but the location is at an airport and we didn't want to miss our flight so we couldn't do that either. The screens/machines you can use to place your order were really annoying to use, they wouldn't properly register scrolling and would instead register a click. This was made worse by the fact that we were in a hurry to not miss our flight. I really would expect things to work at a place like that. This was more of an inconvenience but there was no (functioning) monitor on the seating side where we went to sit so one of us had to go stand near the counters and wait for our order there or we would've had no idea when it could be picked up. Also a nitpick, but why was the only available soda size 0.75 liters? This isn't the USA, who the hell can drink all that?

Lower your prices by about 50%, get your orders right, fix your machines and put some monitors at the seating area and...

Terrible place. Very over priced to start with, but then they don't give you a receipt, miss items off and make you pay again, either that or a kids meal, two adult meals and a shake cost over £50! Sorry I forgot to add the BBQ sauce! The drinks were only half full, there is a 0.75l mark on them, which I would assume was where they should go to, maybe I am wrong, as both our drinks were between that and the bottom line! When we passed out the food me noticed a burger was missing. When we went back to ask where the fourth burger was the girl said that we hadn't ordered another burger. We had definitely ordered it, so she either didn't put it on and the charges are astronomical or she charged us for it twice! The wait was long and the burger was soggy! Not impressed but not much choice, they have the monopoly, so can give dreadful sauce, dreadful food and steal money and people will still use them knowing this as they have no other choice! Make sure you get a receipt or they may steal your money! Also interesting that most of the comments on here are negative, and they get a generic reply to say they will strive to do better, but words mean nothing...

Firstly, I have to say that I was pleased to see Burger king, especially after we were told by the tour guide that there were only vending machines after passport control. The staff seemed OK but not exactly promoting the brand, which I did point out. The eating areas were not particularly clean and many tables were still strewn with leftovers. Now for the main reason people come to Burger king, the food. It was OK at best. The bread buns were quite dry, the lettuce was horrid and brown and rest of my double whopper wasn't much better, it really put me off eating it. Half of it went in the bin even after picking out the nasty lettuce and gherkins. The chips ( fries ) were pleasant and the drink was massive, I only could manage about 25% of the HUGE cup. Over all rating is... Not good Burger King, not good. I wouldn't...
