El Arco — Restaurant in La Oliva

After an Entire week I finally discovered this gem brewing the only specialty coffee in the island and Roasting small batches. In the middle of nowhere but upcoming area full of independent shops. We had a Kenyan espresso fully washed and a Decaf Flat White with Oat Milk. The espresso was a bomb of fruit at first I couldn’t detect the notes but afterwards reading the back of the pack I could recognise Blueberry,red Apple,really pleasant Long lasting in your palate. I will just suggest to don’t charge 2.80 euro for Plant Based milk plus the cost of the flat White that comes at 4.80 €. Cooked for surfers, cooked by surfers! I highly recommend to swing by el arco if you cross lajares on the way to the beach or if you visit the handcraft market. It doesn’t matter if you choose food or drinks you will be more than satisfied. I really enjoyed the breakfast speciale, the cookies (the ones with colourful little pearls) or carrot cake. Great place but we are not coming back, they have mess with billing you. Biggest problem is they knew they did mistake but stay quiet until I came back with wrong bill and knew exactly what is the case. They have nice breakfest and burgers. Simple tastes. Owner roasts coffee beans, so you can get a speciality coffee as well. Negative, and what a shame for such a nice bar! For extra omelette in croissant you pay almost half of the price of whole food you eat (+3€) and we were also wrongly billed (they charge us double the price of croissant)....
