On The Rocks — Restaurant in La Oliva

Easily the worst food we had in 2 weeks in Corralejo.

It was overpriced, bland slop on a plate.

The reason most of it was gone was that the portions were so laughably small.

I was unaware that my son had left a review and I was going to leave it myself, but to insinuate that he 'doesn't know food' and only eats McDonalds in astounding.

We ate out every night over 2 weeks, sampling wonderful restaurants and this was the worst food going. In fact this is the only restaurant we did not tip, throughout our entire stay.

As pointed out by my son, some bland tasteless pork on a plate, with 6 nachos does not make a full priced main meal. We ate here after reading the reviews and cannot believe how poor it was. Also, picking on a 13 year old boy voicing an honest opinion is shameful.

I had no issue with the service, mistakes can happen and our server was friendly, but beyond that, 1 main was delivered after everyone had eaten theirs and it was also poor.

It was overpriced garbage and I felt guilty bringing the family here for our last meal.

You weren't wrong about 1 thing, McDonald's would have been better than this utter trash, and I can't stand McDonalds. You should be ashamed.

Also, red wine should be served at room temperature and not chilled...

Avoid like the plague. An utter disappointment.

In response to the owner - Again, the plates came back almost empty, because there was so little food for over £100 euros. It was edible, but it was so poor, bland and small.

I will call out your bs, and your insults to my son. With your questionable reviews. You know very well I told the chef that the food was no good after he came to us asking how it was, as if he was pleased with his culinary garbage.

I only wish I had taken photos of this nonsense.

Absolutely disgraceful, I have no idea how you can make a restaurant and sell that food, came with a family of 5 all of our food was below par. The servings were a joke my dad ordered the main course pulled pork and got a small pile of some frozen pork probably from Aldi and 6 nachos. The service was shocking, we sat down and asked for a menu it took 20 minutes for him to bring us the food written on a chalkboard, the prices were high and the portion sizes were laughable, the meatballs were delicious to be fair 😂, other than that bad service and horrible food that was only just edible. When they brought out the food they forgot to make my mum's altogether so she had to wait another 20 minutes for hers after we'd waited an hour for our food already and all she got was 3 cod fritters and some chips which was supposed to be the main course and costed about 13 euros. We tried some of the restaurants around the plaza and came across this one. The chef greeted us and was friendly. The chef explained the menu, which was very good. The girl who took our drinks order wasn't as welcoming as the chef and looked like she didn't want to be there. Cocktails were ok. When the food came, it looked lovely but was so over seasoned.
