Las Palmeras Take Away — Restaurant in la Vila Joiosa / Villajoyosa

First off,I have had a house in La Vilajoisa for over 15 years and have much experience with its eateries.Our children asked to go to Las Palmeras as our last eating experience was exceptional. Our last outing to the restaurant was not without incident either as they were at a loss how to sit the six of us at one table. The issue was solved with little effort by dividing our group into two. Tonight,the night in question of the present review,we were 5 and there were 3 tables available and without reservation : 2 seated couples and the third a group of 4. There were two staff in the floor and they informed us that they had no tables for our “large” number. I told them that we could split into two but they said that this solution would not work. I asked why and both mumbled incoherently saying it was impossible as other people would possibly come. I protested and stated my observation and they mumbled sonething unintelligible and proceeded to disappear,sweating profusely. They have no idea how to treat with people and lack any training. I do not likely write negative reviews but feel that this review will serve to both register our discontent and to help any other that might find themselves in the same situation. I arrive there at 2pm, was only one other customer. So I arrive and I tell the girl that I’m looking the menu. 5 mins later I’m waiting that she come to take my order, instead of coming to take it she tell me with a rude tone to leave place to the others people (one other customer behind me). So I tell her that I’m ready to order ! She take my order but still being cold and tell me to going outside for waiting that it’s ready. All her behaviour was very rude, I didn’t like it at all ! Pocas ganas de trabajar. Hemos llamado sobre las 3 para preguntar a qué hora cerraba la cocina, la persona que nos atiende ha dudado en responder y ha dicho a las 4 menos cuarto (un horario un tanto extraño) pero se supone que nos daba tiempo de ir. Hemos llegado al pueblo sobre las 3 y 20, pero en la zona es difícil aparcar, así que cuando al fin hemos encontrado sitio, hemos ido para allá. Al entrar por la puerta, eran las 15:44 y el chaval nos dice que ya no podíamos comer porque "ya nos lo había avisado". Entiendo que la cocina de un restaurante tenga un horario, pero que a esa hora, a la que se supone que cerraba la cocina, ya estaba el personal fuera. El local es enano y no había prácticamente gente, ni dentro ni en la "terraza", que más bien parecía algo abandonado. No sé si suele llenar los fines de semana, pero desde luego que si quieres ir, se te quitan las ganas. Una completa decepción porque llevo tiempo queriendo ir y cuando al fin lo consigo, me llevo un chasco. Ojalá se solucione porque así no va...
