L’Unión offers two menu options with plenty of choice at this vegetarian eatery. The quiche was served typical Spanish style - a bit uncooked in the middle - and served with a trio of mini salads. The aubergine “meatballs” were served on top of what could be described as a deconstructed moussaka (minus the meat and bechamel) and with a few slices of pumpkin. There is true beauty in the simplicity of the food made even better with shredded Parmesan on top. For dessert, plenty of temping options including the flan. Anyone who cares to eat well - to eat good wholesome food that is so good that meat lovers won’t even miss the meat should check out L’Unión. The service was outstanding. When I entered the maître d' told me they didn't have any tables available, but he immediately offered me space at the bar instead, where I embarked on one of the best meals of my life.

So I order it, eat it, and guess what? I had an allergic reaction! I ask the boss afterward and he said that it did contain Brazil nuts and said that he was sorry, and I should have said something...
