Via Amalfi — Restaurant in Lloret de Mar

Where to start.... I guess you can read the rest of my reviews to determine if I'm the type to speak bad on a place for nothing.

Here we go...

Seats out front with reserved plaques on them that nobody showed up to. To make the place seem busier than it was.

Intentionally tried to put us off ordering pasta as it takes longer to prep.

€30 for a bowl of beef stew that was made using a granulated stock.

Ordered the pasta, it was overcooked and the prawns were chopped up and through the pasta rather than served whole. Clearly bought in bulk.

Beer glass taken away as empty but no offer of replacement.

My plate taken away before partner had finished theirs.

Water glasses taken away one by one as soon as they hit the table empty. No offer of replacement.

Partners wine glass almost taken away which had that last sip that wine drinkers savour. Server gave partner side eye and leaned towards glass to say "for real?" In a patronising way.

Not offered dessert until the card machine was brought over by the only waiter that had any manners.

The food was average and the service was appalling, they wanted us out pronto.

€60 euros for a bowl of stew, a plate of pasta and two...

I rarely leave a restaurant feeling this disappointed and frustrated. The food was bland, uninspired, and absolutely not worth the prices. But the real disaster began when it came time to pay: no card payment accepted (in 2025?!), and we were told we couldn’t split the bill – we were forced into one main check, which caused total confusion for our group.

To make things worse, one of the staff members actually made fun of us while we were trying to sort it out. The attitude was condescending, disrespectful, and just completely unprofessional. We felt not just unwelcome, but mocked. That is simply not how you treat people.

I’m writing this review because I rarely feel this uncomfortable at a restaurant. I absolutely do not recommend this place – neither for the food nor the service....

ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls please strap yourself in for the most impressive and extravagant italian food direct from the Amalfi coast

The carbonara is the most authentic italian dish i have ever had in my sweet 25 years on this plant earth. My (imaginary) italian grandmother called me and told me how proud of me she is after eating that meal

The food will send feelings of euphoria from your spine down to your toes, you will question if you’ve ever truly felt love before this meal.

And if the food wasn’t enough may you be so lucky as to get Rosalina as your waitress who will go above and beyond to ensure your time is as pleasant as your wildest dreams could even imagine.

Trust me...
