Bella italia Ristorante Pizzeria — Restaurant in Llucmajor

We visited this lovely square in Lucmajor intending to visit a seafood restaurant but did not find the menu appealing. We saw this welcoming place and although it seemed a bit counterintuitive to eat Italian in Majorca we decided to try it. We drank a wine and a beer and a bottle of still water. For the meal we started with superb Alioli and bread. My wife had pork tenderloin with mashed potato and I went for saltimbocca all’s Romana with roast potatoes. Both meals were delicious, full of flavour and well presented. Service was quick and friendly and although the place was busy the staff did their best to be attentive. We finished the meal by sharing s tiramisu. We were glad we chose this place to eat and had a very satisfying meal. Das Restaurant ist bekannt für sein leckeres Essen und daher auch in der Nebensaison meist voll besetzt. Also, entweder man reserviert für einen Besuch oder muß damit rechnen, deutliche Wartezeiten in Kauf nehmen zu müssen. Ich hatte den gemischten Vorspeisenteller, auf dem mir vor allem das Vitello Tonnato schmeckte, aber das Bruschetta das absolute Highlight war. Als Hauptgang hatte ich eine Pizza Quatro Stagioni, die ich eher nicht empfehlen würde. Salz wurde ziemlich sparsam in Tomatensauce und Teig verwendet, es reichte gerade so, aber mehr wäre besser. Gerade auf Pizze ist Salz ein wichtiger Geschmacksverstärker. Der Oregano war sehr ungleichmäßig verteilt, was darauf hinweist, daß er separat auf die Pizza gegeben wurde. Er gehört aber und nicht zu knapp in die Tomatensauce. Dadurch würde die Pizza viel näher an das italienische Vorbild heranrücken. Die Pizza würde, zusammen mit mehr Salz in der Tomatensauce italienischer und gleichmäßiger gewürzt schmecken. So aber ist der wie bei jeder Pizza unbelegte Rand einfach nur fade und reizt zum übrig lassen. Mit Oregano in der Tomatensauce wäre er dagegen ein Highlight. Der Boden der Pizza war schön dünn, die Belegung insgesamt leider ziemlich gering, was ich bei anderen Gästen und anderen Pizze ebenso wahrnehmen konnte. Viel war vor allem Käse darauf, das fand ich gut. Ich fürchte aber, die Kritikpunkte treffen auch auf die anderen Pizze zu. Was mich auch gestört hat, war die Auswahl der verfügbaren Pizze. Fast alle besaßen neben Tomatensauce und Käse nur zwei Zutaten. Dafür sind die Preise zu hoch. So kommen diese Pizze leider bei weitem nicht an die besten der Insel heran, die ich im Vesuvio in Colonia de Sant Jordi immer...

Uncomfortable Seating and Noisy Atmosphere

We visited this place but, unfortunately, were disappointed. We were seated very close to other guests, even though there were plenty of free tables around. When we asked to move to one of the empty tables, we were refused, as those tables were supposedly for four people, even though several of them remained unoccupied. We just wanted to have a quick meal and leave, but the noisy atmosphere made our stay uncomfortable. I don’t understand why they couldn’t accommodate our request when the tables were...
