I came to this restaurant by a recommendation as I knew the Chef, Carlos Sierra, was awarded in 2016 with several awards, one of them is the 4th place in the Spanish chef contest of the year. And it was not disappointed at all, it is a place you must visit if you come to Majorca.

Tomates Verdes has reached a level of tasteful food that I have never had before, the mixture of flavors between traditional food mixed with a mediterranean style, really well presented and a great variety on the menu. It is a great place to have a dinner for two, or with friends and obviously to have great tapas too, I would recommend the Iberian Ham Croquets.

The atmosphere of the restaurant was wonderful and the possibility being served with plenty of space in the terrace makes the difference. The service is amazing, they are very polite and attentive, the waiter went trough every dish that we order and even we got the Chef coming to us asking how the dinner was!!

We went in the off season...November. parking was crazy in the town would recommend taking a taxi. Food was delish..started with tuna Tartare and then shared a ribeye and the octopus. The Ribeye was tasty but ive had better steaks in the states...would recommend sticking with the fish if you like fish...it's always very fresh and definitely try the padron peppers..they gave them on the side sort of as a decoaration...they are delicious. Similar to shisitos but meatier. Im hoping to grow my own here!! The waiter and owner/manager were very attentive. Loved the house white wine (dry) think it was rueda. Would recommend this place to others visiting Mallorca. Oh and they give you a variety of salts for the steak...nice touch! The atmosphere was nice...very clean and airy, large windows overlooking the square but I wasn't facing that way..lol. included some photos below....

We discovered Tomates Verdes while visiting the Plaza Espanya in Llucmajor, Mallorca, Spain. We saved it for our last night on this trip to Spain and we were not disappointed. To begin, the service was outstanding, friendly, and welcoming. But most importantly, the food was amazing. Our family had everything from white fish, salmon, pork ribs, and beef(see photo). The Tapas were amazing and the quality of food exceeded expectations. The cost was very reasonable considering the quality.
