What a shame. I was recommended to visit this vinoteca by a fellow somellier and was super excited to snag some bottles to take home.
Unfortunately, the wine we were served was corked. A merlot that smelled like wet dog, wet cardboard, ruined cork and was unpleasnt on the tongue. We left the glass to the side and commented it to the server. She served us another full glass from the same bottle and asked us to taste it. It tasted the same, to which she replied "oh you just don't like it".
Either way, the service was friendly, but we were charged for the untouched wine, which is shocking for any wine professional. It's a wine by the glass that was undoubtedly corked, and she could have easily recommended something else. I paid as I don't see the need to argue over €4,50, but this left an (additional) unpleasant taste.
Una lástima. Vinimos com mucha ilusión por recomendación de amigo sumiller y con la intención de comprar vino en botella para llevar. El vino que se nos sirvió estaba picado (olía a perro mojado, corcho húmedo, nada de fruta, y dejaba sensación a vinagre en la boca).
Lo comentamos y nos sirvieron otra copa, llena, que sabía igual. Cuando comentamos que igualmente sabía mal, nos contestaron "vale, no te ha gustado". Allí quedó la segunda copa sin tocar, e igualmente nos lo cobraron, e igualmente decidí pagarlo.
