My wife and I recently had the pleasure of dining at Milo, where we experienced a very nice meal. We started our evening with The Milo salad, which was a nice introduction to our dining experience. However, we found that the salad had a bit too much olive oil, which slightly overwhelmed the flavours of the fresh ingredients.
For our main courses, I opted for the Turbot fish, while my wife chose the pork dish. The Turbot fish was cooked to perfection and showcased the chef's expertise. However, similar to the salad, I noticed that the dish also had a slightly heavy hand with the olive oil, which detracted slightly from the overall balance of flavours.
Despite these minor critiques, our dining experience at Milo was undeniably enjoyable. The flavours were fresh and well-balanced, and the presentation of each dish was simple yet elegant. The attention to detail in the preparation was evident, and we appreciated the thoughtfulness that went into each element of the meal.
With a rating of 4 out of 5, our meal at Milo was a solid and satisfying experience that left us with fond memories. We look forward to returning to see how this establishment continues to evolve and impress diners with its...
Read moreCame here for dinner with the family. Immediately was impressed with the lady that seated us we found her very friendly and welcoming.
3 of the 4 adults ordered from set menu. I ordered starter and main course from the main menu.
Food all tasted good and was well presented. However the reason I’ve given 3/5 stars was because the timing of the food from set menu versus the main menu were completely out of sync.
Set menu starters came out well before my starter. I had to query if my starter was on its way before it finally arrived. By this point, the others had pretty much finished their starters.
It got worse for main meals. Set menu mains arrived together. Having waited quite a while, I queried if my main was on its way. No meal arrived. Again, I waited some more, until I queried again. At this point everyone else had finished their main meals (and they were eating slowly), so I was therefore just about to cancel my order, when it finally arrived.
So sadly was left somewhat disappointed, not by the food, but by the excessive wait due to ordering from main menu, as well as no real recognition of this...
Read moreWe ate here twice this year and both times were consistently good. First time we sat indoors, the interior is beautiful, very clean rest room's and restaurant area. Service excellent across the board on each visit. Varied menu and great Gluten free options and many dietary advisories. I had Iberian pork and vegetables which was plentiful and very delicious, We also had chicken thigh (cooked beautifully and very tasty) with a massive portion of fries. My husband had a full rack of ribs which were the best he'd had and again with lots of chips. Fresh rolls and alioli, very nice, Our second visit we sat outside and had chicken thighs again with a side of vegetables and the pork again. We had drinks and couldn't eat dessert and it was about £58 . Great value for money , excellent service and outstanding food. Definitely one of the best restaurants in Los Alcazares. Only criticism of I'm being picky is the portion's are too big. Definitely return...
