Food is great (we order from the mandarin menu) and I was definitely impressed with the quality and quantity of food for the price!
Since we’re visiting, we ordered all mostly local seafoods and having spent yesterday at the beach, I was pleasantly surprised at how affordable the seafood was here and also…. Love the flavor and seasoning!!!
We got: Pork rib corn soup - very good, definitely a favorite Stir-fried Chinese watercress - a bit oily but tasty and hey… we finally found some vegetables in Spain at a restaurant Red shrimp - Mmmmm that sauce Garlic scallops - super tasty with the green bean vermicelli - loved it Steamed fish - pretty solid steamed branzino Razor clams - must have when in Spain Dessert - sesame rice ball in water - really giant bowl… and solid
Overstuffed and happy, for sure. They also were able to help accommodate my celiac gluten self - and informed me that the sauce they use for most of the seafood has wheat, and was able to help me substitute with just salt for all the dishes, then gave us a bowl with the actual sauce for my friends to add to their food. They spoke both mandarin and English...
Read moreI'm surprised this place has such good reviews. We arrived and ordered. Waited nearly 20 minutes for our drinks and some free prawn crackers (some had brown marks on - like soy sauce or other). I ordered the chicken in spicy sauce and white rice. The chicken pieces were unlike anything if I have ever seen. Not sure what the cuts were but assuming all fat and skin - round small balls of chicken with other small balls attached - looked like tumours.
The taste was basic, the quality poor and the wait times and...
Read moreThe restaurant is located by the most popular Chinese grocery shop in the area, and as I heard very popular among the local Chinese. It was recommended by several Spanish friends who are studying the language in Malaga as an authentic place. We mostly order by Glovo or buy take out while passing buy. I couldn't be happier with their food! It is always fresh, and offers a huge selection of dishes, as well as the less common ones, which I always find interesting to try. I recommend the soups - especially the ones which are full second dishes like rib and corn soup. I love the orejas de cerdo, but I guess it can be a more controversial choice. Taro de plancha is like chinese gnocchi, really, really nice. All the dishes en estillo de sichuan are delicious and properly spicy (which in my case I enjoy a lot). I highly...
