33-45 Sound Restaurant — Restaurant in Málaga

There are numerous places to eat in the main shopping area of Malaga. We were greeted by a friendly Cuban who suggested we try this restaurant for lunch. It was just off the main walkway, which means you need to know about its existence. The decor is fresh and modern. There is outdoor seating with lovely warm heaters available for the colder months. We had a tropical salad and pork main. The salad was delightful with excellent fresh ingredients. The star was the pork main that required a second purchase. The drink of Tinto con limon was refreshing. The staff were very pleasant and even ensured we did not leave without having a free aperitif. I’m almost ashamed saying I have been eating here. The worst restaurant experience in Malaga in the last 5 years. First of all some of the waiters looked very careless about their hygiene. The food we ordered tasted awful, there were also small flies that came with two of the dishes, which buzzed around the plate. Gambas was old and tasted sour, we got the wrong food but got new in the end. This restaurant is just to steer away from as all restaurants in a 1km radius would be better option.We left the restuarant with a terrible aftertaste in our mouth, I was on the verge of vomiting from thinking about the food. One of the worst experiences in such a nice restaurant ever!!!

The mojito came as a "soup", the risotto was incredibly salty and the waiter discussing with us that it wasn't salty. Hello?! Then I "tried" to order only a side dish to still eat something as they don't have other vegetarian stuff besides the risotto. Then the waiter discussed that they CANNOT bring only a side dish. They have to bring the octopus with the sides and it would be impossible to bring the side veggies only. Is it cooked together? No, still they CANNOT do it. Speechless... We changed to another restaurant next to it (D'Italy) where we had an amazing service from a very friendly waiter. Better go to this one if you think about...
