Costa Coffee… Just rebrand to ‘Cost’
Got an Americana - it wasn’t just weak there was no taste of coffee at all.
Drank some as thought was just my taste buds. Shared with a fellow traveller who said this tastes of zero. Basically giving the seller the benefit of the doubt.
Took back to the team who said… It’s an Americano - it’s meant to be weak! If it was so bad why did you drink it????
Service as sad as the coffee. Shame.
If you want the essence of Coffee you’re in the right place - just ask for 10 shots. I suppose being in an airport return / repeat trade not so important.
I should have read the other reviews here before giving them a go.

As you can see other reviews have made similar comments so rather than offer an apology might be worth looking into the coffee being used/amount of coffee to understand why people have made the effort to let you/others be aware of this.
I was spoken to as if I were trying to get a free top up. The comment was made ‘I should be charging you for an extra shot’ but here’s one anyway. I would have rather been offered a new coffee (being the size of what I had brought back not a full cup) or as most would expect the offer of an alternative type of coffee. I was simply told an Americano is weak what do you expect and if you disliked it that much why drink so much? We’d had two mouthfuls.
Your response follows the usual corporate lines. We’ve looked into this and here’s a generic no one’s at fault response. Certainly not us.
No one put themself in my position. A person being totally embarrassed to ask your company to assist with a product that simply didn’t taste of coffee. Nothing more. We poured your ‘topped’ up coffee away and went to another cafe who gave us exactly what was expected. A simple Americano.
If you think people leave reviews to harm your business or highlight your shortcomings just look at your overall review star rating on Google. Address that and fundamentally make a difference. Sure we’ve both got better things to do with our time. But thanks for the response anyway.

Read moreAs a dedicated fan of Costa Coffee and a frequent customer, my recent visit to this store in the airport left me utterly disheartened. I have always held a deep appreciation for the brand, but unfortunately, this experience fell far short of my expectations.
From the moment I stepped in, it was evident that the staff were not only unprofessional but also remarkably rude. The lack of courtesy and professionalism was quite surprising, given my previous positive encounters at other Costa Coffee outlets.
The queues were unusually long, making the wait frustrating and seemingly endless. To compound matters, the prices were unexpectedly high compared to what I'm accustomed to at other Costa Coffee locations. This added an element of disappointment to my overall visit.
The final blow was when I attempted to redeem a voucher that specifically stated its validity throughout Andalucía. However, to my disbelief, the staff refused to honor it, providing nonsensical excuses that it was only for use in England. The voucher clearly and explicitly indicated that it was valid in Andalucía, leaving me feeling unheard and undervalued as a customer.
I sincerely hope that the employees at this particular Costa Coffee branch take this feedback constructively, striving to enhance their customer service skills and attentiveness to voucher details. A brand as reputable as Costa Coffee should consistently maintain high standards of service and uphold the promises made in their promotions...

On the off chance we phoned today and spoke to Chris who stated no jacket had been found, however, five minutes later he phoned back stating that the jacket had been found and he would happily store it until our next trip.
