• POSITIVES: They have a decent selection of imported beers, many good Italian ones.
The menu, although a bit too extensive, offers some good options of Italian cold cuts & cheeses to pair with your drink.
The bread served is top quality. Great fermentation.
• NOT-SO-POSITIVE: This place could have a lot of potential, but their attitude towards customers and their opinion is not only unprofessional, but childish.
If customers provide a negative opinion or constructive feedback, they take that as an offense, and the responses are sarcastic and childish, as seen in other reviews.
Clearly, this is a business owned by one or two people who take everything personally and simply do not have the maturity to understand business. When you are the provider of a product or a service, people will talk about it, and that's part of the deal - Keeping the professionalism and humbleness is essential. Learn how to receive feedback and see what good can be used from it to improve your business, instead of having a constant sarcastic defensive approach.
As a customer in this bar, if you dare questioning something or not being satisfied with what you consume, instead of having your complaint acknowledged, they will constantly try to prove you wrong, saying "they are italians and this how things are done" -- I am an italian businessman myself, and I know that having this confrontational attitude has never taken any business anywhere.
On a summer Friday evening in Málaga, I saw this place empty, while the staff members tried bringing clients in, by offering free salami out on the street......
Read more1st time to any Italian, I always order the classics.
❌ I like my pasta al dente, but this was al crudo. Undercooked by at least 1-2 minutes. I complained and got the response, "this is how we do it in Rome". Not true at all, I have never had uncooked pasta in Rome, or in Italy. The plate was sad looking even for a trattoria, but this is not even that. We were not offered neither bread nor parmeggiano, which is also unheard of in Italy.
❌ Got a small (not smallest) Insalata Mista. It was the size of the coffe saucer, and with over salted iceberg lettuce. 6 EUR!
❌ ordered a coffe and said I'd like it right away. After 10 minutes I repeated and got it only 20 min later in the middle of the dinner, as the waitress was totally ignoring my request and apparently didn't know how to make coffee, nor open a wine bottle where she spent most of her time. (There was only one other table with a couple!)
❌ The place stinks from the meat/hams hanging over your head, and the sweaty cheese in the warm refrigerator!
⚠️ Bring an umbrella, as all the smelly sausages are dripping oil all over the place. Just imagine the showers when temperatures goes up 10-20 degrees!! ☔💧
💰 Aqua con gas & still hungry, walkout price was 24 EUR.
👎 You'll be a lot...
Read moreI will write this review in English. Because they lured us as if we were guiri, although we (my companions and I) speak Spanish and live in Malaga. we were persistently persuaded to try not what we wanted to order, but “real Italian bocadillos”)). I ordered cava (and I wanted cava), they served me prosecco in a glass for God knows what kind of wine)), without explaining that it was prosecco. The waitress directly pointed to the label and said: “Here is the cava.” And here’s the most interesting thing: they bring us a bill containing not cava, but prosecco, and not the appetizers that we ordered (two out of three items, and of course, in favor of the establishment in terms of cost). The waitress pretends that everything is correct, we show her what we ordered on the menu, she nods. Well, in short, such a cute picture of cheating for beginners. We didn’t quarrel, but this approach, friends... we came for the mood and delicious food. We got a trick of unknown origin. Don't do that....
