Edit in response to the owner: Im Irish..so was the group that came in. Thats an offensive name to call a drink and you would get in real trouble if you tried to order one in a pub in Dublin. Even the wikipedia article you so kindly linked explains that its an offensive name. Maybe read the article and links yourself before asking me to get more knowledge. Im sure your bar is great. Thats just not a nice thing to see on a menu and it turned me and my group off coming in to a highly rated bar.
Original: I am unable to say what it was really like as we didn't get to have a drink. No one wanted to stay when we noticed the menu had an 'Irish Car Bomb'. Im sorry to give a negative review but that's a really awful thing to see on a menu. I'm sure the place is lovely. Sorry for the harsh review but it changed the entire atmosphere of the group and it was the deciding factor in us...
Read moreLast evening I hung out at a bar called Manana. Cool little hole-in-the-wall, with a 30-something proprietor from Latvia, blessed with shoulder-length, blonde hair. So, while sipping my glass of wine, I see the bartender pulling out all these amazing, fresh ingredients and carefully making very sophisticated cocktails. Ones that you’d expect to see in a five-star hotel. Just super particular and knows what he’s doing. This causes me to look around the place carefully and I see more types of liquor than I’ve ever seen before. An Indonesian liquor, for example. That’s got me talking to the owner, Eddie, and soon after, with a regular from the British Midlands, Greg. I had so much fun and it seems this place is kind of apt metaphor for this sweet, friendly, Spanish seaside town. BTW. There’s no food. Suggest you bring your own, they don’t...

The result was a „sangria” which was too sweet - the taste was destroyed and there was no wine flavor. In the end, the reality of competition in Malaga’s market allows us to enjoy much better sangria below 16€ as you suggested. :) why be so passive aggressive about it?
ORIGINAL:Unfortunately, sangria ordered contained more fanta and cinamon than wine. The glass was big but taking into account the content of it 8euro per person its very much overpriced. You can drink a whole jar of sangria elsewhere in Malaga for 16 eur (for 2 people). 2 stars because service was nice and chill. We wont come back...
