Marisqueria Playa — Restaurant in Málaga

We were here after a day at the beach of Malaga. We found this place on google because the reviews were quite good. And we weren’t disappointed. The food was so good, everything was so fresh. It is recommended to make a reservation before hand because this place is quite crowded. I guess it’s a more local experience. You have a variety of sea food to choose from. The service guy was very friendly and explained everything to us because the menue was only in Spanish with only the names of the fishes/mussles/etc. the shrimps were sweet and tasted to fresh. Really first class fresh seafood in a tiny extremely crowded restaurant with great service. The food was excellent. The service was very friendly, quick and efficient. There is no menu, all the fresh seafood is listed on boards with their prices. The waitress tells you exactly what is fresh today and what if anything is frozen. The restaurant which is a little away from the beach, is very small, packed to the gills and as a consequence extremely loud. This restaurant shows how sea food freshness and sweetness still remains after cooking. We had the extraordinary dinner here. Although we didn't reserve, the owner still could find a table for us. He was very friendly and recommended us his best products despite of his not very good English. The sea food was more than we expected. We had the best tuna steak ever. Just perfect.
