Taberna Picasso Málaga — Restaurant in Málaga

We were exited to try this place as it came recommended and the reviews were good. We were told to sit at a table and after 5 minutes the waiter brought a menu. A few minutes later the waiter came to take our order so we ordered 5 tapas and a beer. 5 minutes later the (same) waiter came back and asked us what we would like to order. We told him we had already ordered (from him....5 minutes ago). He mumbled something about the computer and asked that we tell him again what we wanted.

20 minutes later not even the drinks had arrived and the table next door was complaining that they had received the wrong dishes (we thought maybe they received our order but this was not the case). Another waiter asked us as he passed if everything was OK. We both in unison said "no" but he just continued to walk away from us.

At this moment as we were very hungry, thirsty and frustrated, we made the difficult decision to leave. Looking at the reviews this experience looks uncharacteristic. But for us it was a hugely disappointing, especially as were were hoping to have time to see the sunset on the hill after dinner which we ere...

This is a follow up to my last review having had a more in depth experience of Taberna Picasso over the last few days and in particular over the weekend. If you want a bar with a great atmosphere, fantastic food and given it's location sunshine all day then this is the place to come! Above all what has impressed me the most, is the fabulous customer service. Even at its busiest (which seems to be most of the time) the service is very quick and slick and I particularly like the genuine and friendly way the front of house team interact with the customers. COCKROACH IN THE RESTAURANT!!! So this is going to be very different from the other reviews so don't hate on me. Basically me, my mom and my dad were eating meatballs, chicken wings and a burger, nothing wrong with that. I didn't like the fact that the garbage can was literally 5 foot steps away and the bathroom also 5 foot steps away. Ok let's not assume the worst, but when we didn't expect it we saw a cockroach coming from the can😑. We got kinda scared dropped the the fork and the knife and we left. I'm not trying to hate, but don't tell me that it came from the outside when it came...
