Picasso Brunch & Tapas — Restaurant in Málaga

Queue to get the table (of course, it’s a saturday night.) Took approx 15 mins before we could get seated. Ordered a pint and a mojito. The mojito was on offer for 6 eur. Good price. Tasted literally nothing unfortunately. Ordered food - tapas. After 10-15 minutes the first dish arrived, for my partner. She sat with it waiting for the rest of the dishes for maybe 15 minutes before starting to eat. Took a total of one hour before the rest of our meals arrived. Writing this, we Ordered a pepsi to get with the food that arrived 30 mins ago. Still no pepsi.

The food was ok. Albondigas was good, tortilla was tasteless. Patatas bravas tasted like patatas bravas. Croquetas with ham was good.

Would not go here again a friday/saturday night, due to the staff shortage. Been trying to get ahold of a waiter to pay for this for 15 mins but...

I really don’t understand the good reviews and wouldn’t recommend visiting.

The food was really average and the service was not great. The waiter came to me after delivering the same dish twice to tell me once again that I indeed ordered the dish twice and not just once. I of course didn’t… it had seafood, which I don’t eat, but my husband does. I didn’t understand why she wanted to tell me that again. It felt really unnecessary and unfriendly.

It also took them a long time to bring a simple tortilla. It was for our 5 year old and he had to wait after we were done to eat his average tortilla.. it also took them longer to bring his juice..

The prices are high for what it is, if you are seating inside the place is really not inviting. One good thing: vegetarian dishes are...

I’m from the UK and I don’t speak Spanish although my waitress was very nice, enthusiastic and well spoken with English. our food came very fast (5 minutes), We got tapas and each dish is only 4 Euros, although I gave it 4 stars because the dishes are very small, it has a nice view of the park right beside it with late trees, the tables are quite close together and the seats are decently comfy, I like the shades because it gets very hot here in Malaga, The orange juice is Perfect, very very fresh here in Pica brunch and Tapas , I would recommend going here if you are travelling on a budget.
