I really don't understand why there are such good reviews about this place. I would like to know people's real opinions. We were on a short trip to Malaga, we were fed up with Spanish food and wanted to eat Italian food. We were guided by the opinions, the opinion is 4.8 out of thousands (it can't be bad), a great guy greeted us on site and this is the only plus of the restaurant, we ordered a pizza and one carbonara. When the waiter brought the order, I thought it was a joke, that there was a hidden camera somewhere and in a moment we would all be laughing. The pizza did not resemble Italian pizza even 1%. Margarita strange cheese, concentrate and oregano. The carbonara had some tough bacon and was dry. There were Italians sitting next to us and when they got the order they had such faces on their faces that they also thought it was a joke. The whole evening I was disappointed and shocked like never before in my life. The waiter was a great man, but the food was a mess. I'm sorry, I was very disappointed, I feel sorry for the real Italians people, they probably cried after this feast.
Answer for your answer:
I have the right to express my opinion. I’ve been to Italy many times and I know what real Italian pizza tastes like – what I had here did not taste like Italian pizza, but more like flatbread. I would gladly get in touch with the customers who wrote positive reviews, because I honestly don’t understand what they are based on. I have no reason to lie; I just don’t want other people to be disappointed the way I was. Everyone is entitled to share their experience – that’s the purpose of review platforms. And just as there can be lawsuits for defamation, there can also be consequences...
Read moreIf you're fond of real Italian food that's actually a pleasure for your mouth! I would recommend it to everyone! I must admit that an Italian restaurant abroad is the last place I would like to go. However, today my friends and I decided to have lunch here. The others with me (all Spanish) were attracted by the inviting scents that came from this restaurant, so they decided that it was absolutely necessary to try it. I am a very critical person, but this place has really conquered me! From starters, in which stuffed vegetables were simply the best, to an amazing four-cheese lasagna ... we also allowed ourselves to order pizzas and desserts. What could I say? BUONISSIMI! Exemplary cuisine! And tasty pizzas! Everything was brought to the table in a short time and they were were cooked perfectly. And if you love spicy, do not hesitate to ask for their precious oil. The desserts then... Believe me: true Italian tradition, absolutely unbelievable. Even the coffee and the homemade liquors were delicious. By the way, not only the food impressed us in a pleasant way. From the waiters to the chefs, everyone was very attentive to the respect of safety distances, the constant hygiene of tables and chairs, the use of masks and with friendliness, they helped us patiently in the choice of dishes. We went away with a great joy, laughing and joking like we've been friends forever. This is an excellent place with a great team working there. I've never had reviews of restaurants published before, but I'm sure.. you will appreciate this little hidden...
Read moreAfter a week spent walking around in Malaga, lost in a fog of tourist-oriented tapas and fake paella restaurants, we found ourselves longing for culinary authenticity. Imagine our joy and surprise when we found this little wonderful family-run Italian trattoria, located just a few steps from Centro Histórico. Picture a restaurant, where the owners are charming and welcoming - despite having risen with the sun to make the day's pasta and to prepare the pesto by hand, one leaf at a time - where all the food is delicious and standards are high and consistent, where the patron saint of cleanliness would rejoice and take notes, where an espresso truly is an espresso, and all this at a reasonable price. Yes - practically everything is homemade and in accordance with true Calabrese tradition, with fresh ingredients - some local and some imported straight from Italy. Just like every high-quality kitchen, this one prides itself on its signature dishes, on as well as off menu. We booked a table and returned every day possible for the rest of our vacation, and were never disappointed! If there is a downside to this place, it's that it is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, which was truly saddening for us because we lost two days of great meals. We wholeheartedly recommend a visit here, and to book a table in advance. Ps! Don't forget to taste the homemade limoncello and chocolate chupitos - they are truly the icing...
