I really don't understand the good rating for this restaurant, the food was terrible - the Tuna Tataki was absolutely without taste or flavour, the foie gras did not taste of anything either, and certainly not of foie gras, it was indigestible by the end, and the sweet jam it came with was sickly. Worst of all was the very junky prawn pil pil kebab which was basically prawn wrapped in bread, I had to ask the waiter if they'd given me the correct dish - oh dear!
Service was also appalling, you had to desperately flag the staff down and even then they'd dismiss you or ignore you. When we told them about our disappointment about the food, they were not bothered, and I see from their reviews that this is common, obviously they're taught to be disdainful to guests, possibly because they dismiss them all as tourists. Annoying as they are, this is a restaurant in Malaga where a lot of tourists visit, and without these very tourists, the restaurant would probably cease to exist. The staff should visit Casa Lola or La Cosmo for some training in professionalism!
Having eaten in these two restaurants today (mentioned above), both excellent, especially La Cosmo, I would advise anyone thinking of visiting Uvedoble to think twice and choose one of these other restaurants instead. I will...
Read moreOne of the best food experiences of all times. I recommend to take a lot of different tapas/ dishes to share with others so that you can try all the amazing things they prepare. The only downside - service is friendly but a bit too pressing, as waiters were constantly trying to clear the dishes from the table even if we’re still eating from them, or ask us if we wanted to order something else.
The quality of the ingredients is excellent, from the meat to the fish. The cuisine style keeps things simple but yet quite experimental and innovative. You can choose the size of your dish, portions are normally not huge but with 3-4 different tapas you can be satisfied.
We tried (and highly recommend): porra antequerana: the tomato mixed with the jamon was extremely tasty, the texture incredibly silky and soft, the comfort food 2.0 ajo blanco: extremely visually pleasing plating, the fish is so good that despite being in small bites you can still taste it fully tuna tataki: serving raw tuna is already an easy win, serving it with porra antequerana as a side is beyond exceptional

Read moreThis restaurant in the heart of Málaga is exceptional. I was lucky enough to get a table outside around 3 PM, which was perfect for enjoying the sun.
My server was very attentive and helped me navigate the menu.
Although they had run out of sangria, I tried the summer red—a great alternative. It was fruity and full of bright, summery flavors.
The food was on another level. The garlic prawn mini-kebab and the crusty king prawn rolls with soy sauce were the highlights. The kebab was packed with juicy, fresh prawns, while the king prawn rolls—prawns wrapped in filo pastry and fried—were simple yet executed to perfection.
I wasn’t the biggest fan of the black toasted noodles with Málaga little squids. I found them lacking in flavor, and there weren’t many squid pieces. However, it was still an interesting dish to try.
Overall, this is a fantastic place to eat. It came highly recommended by a friend, and I can see why. I’ve also tried visiting during peak lunch and dinner hours, but they get very busy. If you can, book a table in advance to avoid...
