El Refugio — Restaurant in Maó

This chef is UNBELIEVABLY talented! We came to get a bocadillo, our favourite is a Serranito, a favourite in andalusia, freshly grilled meat pork loin, cured ham, fried green pepper, cheese, the chef done it with ailoi, it was one of the best things we've ever eaten, we got 2 and couldn't resist eating both, the flavour was insane! You could taste the love and care in it, the best sandwich we've ever eaten, I cannot recommend it enough!!! It doesn't end there, we ordered off the menu of the day, the Ceviche, hands down the best Ceviche we've ever had and great value! A great size portion with great fresh chunks of fish, well seasoned, fantastic tigers milk, home made fritters, what a dish!! A cut above all of the bouji expensive resturants we've ever been to, not only in Menorca, anywhere (we've been to ALOT of places).
