PAPUT MENORCA — Restaurant in Maó

It gets very popular in summer. The environment may very well be different depending on the type of people there are — sometimes good, sometimes not as good. The food is good and well-thought, but hamburgers (their main feature) sometimes are a little burnt on the outside (they try to be as fast as possible I suppose). The seats are extremely uncomfortable. They are wooden benches, chairs and stools aimed to have a fast turnaround on customers and that is bad, instead of enjoying the evening you end up worried about your butt. Staff is nice and friendly, but the seats are just a killer. It is like they are inviting you to leave asap. Price-wise, not the most expensive, but not cheap for a burger and drink either. I've been in this bar a few times over the years and never warmed to it mainly down to one thing the service. I approached the bar to get a drink and was told to sit down as it was table service only having sat at a table i waited about 10 to 15 minutes for someone to arrive and service me. I tried to get a second drink later and asked a waiter for another pint i came back from the toilets and still no pint a half an hour passed and I could see the waiter who took my order having a smoke and a laugh with his colleagues needless to say that I left. this is the second time I've posted this review as the original never appeared top tip go elsewhere where your custom...

What is love but that of a delicious burger?

Paput is the place to be if you want chill vibes, delicious food and great service. You want somewhere to take 30 people for a night away from the tourist traps? Then paput is the answer. The burgers are made with passion and quality ingredients. The chicken pieces are almost illegally good. The fries are the best in the city and the cheeky smile of Alex serving the burgers makes it from a 5 star to a 6 star.

On a 5 day wedding weekend we started here and it set the mood for an incredible stay on Menorca.
