Great spot. Highly recommend.. for night with friends, family, loved ones or simply like me “a pat on the back”.. I’m a chef and the food was all fresh rustic and sublime. Price is normal for 100grams of caviar 180 euro. Blanc de blanc 165 for bottle and other fresh dishes 18-22 euro. Chef is present and the whole vibe is gentile and calm with fresh Cantine looking roof seaside jazz; marble tables, open bar, friendly features. Again one to recommend. If you don’t want to spend a lot. 50 euros can buy you a drink starter main and shared dessert with cover. I spent approx 400+ and got quantiy and quality compared to price. 400 euro for a bottle of blanc de blanc, 100grams of caviar, vongole spaghetti, brioche king prawn, carpaccio fresh where the Walter Shaves the zewt over the platter. Fresh semi burned toast (which is love, burnt but not burnt) so that when you have a raw protein, the mouthful you take has the perfect consistency. And the tart of the day. A lovely feature that is not only European but world wide for freshness. The overall concept is retro : fresh produce.. the small platters the tall seats and tables the different rooms all incorporate Spanish culture. Relaxed, detailed, home cooking, passion, freshness, culture & resemble the essence that each and every place should portray. And that cheesecake. One of a kind unknown & untasted before…...
Read moreThe first thing you see as you approach the restaurant is the inviting high tables and natural wood stools with cushions adorned in the traditional menorcan green, the rest of the decor is just as inviting. The small corner where the chef sucks the oysters and toasts the blinis is open and inviting to the guest. Ambiance is fun and warm, even on a late season dinner.
The star of the show, the seafood, is fresh and good quality. Good variety of oysters are on offer, definitely ask which ones are better on the day as they are not all made equal.the variety of smoked fish elaborations that we tried were all well done. Good selection of whites to pair with your seafood order.
The service was good, although it got a little slower as the night went on, understandable as it was clear that the end of the season was in sight for them and they were clearly...
Read moreMy wife and I came here for a light dinner, and we ended up not wanting to leave. Everything was absolutely delicious. The Irish oysters were outstanding, and the smoked salmon… I honestly don’t think I’ll forget that taste any time soon. Even the bread was incredible.
The only downside was that it was closed on Sunday, which was our last night. After how good it was on Saturday, we really wanted to go again. Maybe that was a bit greedy, but it was just that good.
Highly recommended. The service was five star, the staff were excellent, and the whole experience felt like dining in a proper fine dining restaurant. That’s why it gets my full five star recommendation.
Also, do not miss the oyster shot. It is something totally different and...
