Gourmet Bar Madrid — Restaurant in Madrid

I was staying here with the company. Came down to the restaurant at 3pm just looking for some food and drinks. Staff doesn't speak English, fine. But the wine serving was totally a different standard compared with any other part of the world. When my food came, he just put the plate down, said:"Okie?!" And left.... and then talking something to himself(or to the security guy who's always in the lobby) in Spanish very loud and weird... I thought it's because I'm those "Asian guest"? When I checked the previous comments, I laughed... lol. Others also got these type of bad treatment.

Aha, one more thing. I came in the restaurant, and then asked the other waiter that if I can seat at the table just outside the restaurant (but still inside the lobby) , he said yea it's the same. But he didn't come to give me any menu, and didn't explained to me that he's not In charge of that section (maybe). When another Spanish man walked in, he sat him down and gave him the menu and I was just waiting and watching lol...

Big time disappointment... seriously if ever you can walk outside to eat, then don't dine here!!' If you don't want to be treated...

I’m so sad that our last meal in Spain was here, what a disappointment. The menu was very different from what we saw advertised. The children’s pizza was soggy. The burger was cold and solid and greasy and and the potatoes tasted very industrial, like they were fried in old oil. Such a letdown after all the amazing food we have eaten elsewhere in Madrid. Después de dar un buen paseo por Madrid, acercarse a este sitio en Corralejos es un acierto total. La verdad es que no cuesta nada encontrarlo, está bien situado. Lo que más me gusta es que su carta está pensada para darle un gusto al paladar, con platos que sorprenden y, lo mejor, a unos precios que no son nada caros. La relación calidad-precio es excelente, tanto por la comida como por el trato que recibes. Además, te facilitan todo para pagar, da igual si es con efectivo, tarjeta o incluso tickets restaurant.

Siempre que he ido está lleno de gente, y no es para menos, la recomendación de la gente es un hecho. Por eso creo que es casi imprescindible llamar antes para reservar mesa. Tiene un ambiente muy familiar y acogedor, se nota que es un lugar donde la gente celebra reuniones y queda con los suyos.
