Kept seeing this restaurant popping up at the top of Trip Advisor for a week, so we finally tried it. Note: the restaurant is very close to the airport, so be prepared for a little journey to get there. Well worth it! We arrived just after 7pm and were the only guests in there for maybe 5 minutes. The crowds came! Wait staff were very good and super friendly. Kitchen was cranking out the yummies in no time. Foods: KATHMANDU MIX STARTER, four of us shared it as well as PRAWN PAKORA. My favorite was the Chicken Samosa found on the mixed starter. For entrees we ordered CHICKEN MADRAS (spicy), LAMB TIKKA MASALA both with Garlic Naan and the MANGO CHICKEN with Coconut Rice. Drink: A nice Rioja tonight... Marqués de Cáceres. We has two bottles between 3 who were drinking. Very good choice @ 17€. Our waitress brought us a delicious frozen coconut dessert that was orangish in color, like the color of papaya. I was so full I declined until my husband, who normally never tries sweets, did and said - oh you’ve got to try this!!! Holy smokes. Fantastic explosion of goodness right there! Wish I’d of taken a photo but it was gone before I realized! We also enjoyed hot tea after the meal. Inside: Very clean and liked that the tables weren’t jammed close together so didn’t feel crowded. Loved the colorful hashtag table cloths and fabric napkins. I understand why this restaurant gets high ratings. They certainly can fulfill that honor. Delicious food and wonderful service at reasonable prices. Highly recommend this as a must stop. They’re open for lunch, so if your flight arrives and you need a few hours to kill before check-in at your...

Location ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Just at the top of Town, super easy to find (with the help of Google Maps)
Interior ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I really liked the interior of the restaurant, the table covers are a bit out there but I think it adds to the charm. The toilets are super clean too!
Service ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ I am a typical Brit with no language skills but they managed to share the menu via a QR code, interact with me all evening and honestly they seem like the nicest people ever. I had my starter upgraded and a free shot of mango lassi to end the meal. The Poppadoms are free (rare in England now) and the whole experience was lovely.
Food ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️ I so wanted the curry to just not be that good, however it was genuinely one of the best I have had.
Starter - chicken samosa - a thick authentic shell packed with minced and spiced chicken, the tikka meat they gave me was also amazing. Mains - A Tikka masala where you can taste the tomato and the peshwari naan was to die for. The portions were generous too so I was pretty full afterwards Dessert- gulab jaman - a classic, could have done with a scoop of ice cream in my opinion but that's probably not very authentic
Price ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This was part of a deal for 16 Euro which I thought was incredible value
Overall ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Blown away by this place and although everyone is judging me for having a curry when in Spain, I have no regrets and I am tempted to get back...

I had just arrived from the airport, which was an awful experience in every sense. Needed to chill and went out for dinner. There it was, this small, humble place in a corner...
It's a small restaurant with a calming ambience. The Hindi vibes are everywhere and the staff is just so kind :)
The food was... GREAT!!! I've been to fancy, pretentious restaurants and never had such an honest, tasteful experience as this
I went for the Korma Lamb, a delicious, heartwarming soup with a pinch of sweetness to it and those soft, flavour rich chops of lamb! And the Coconut Garlic Naan was so good! Full of taste, nicely cooked and a really nice pairing to my soup! Finally, asked for a Sweet Mango Lassi, a nice experience of light yogurt that was my dessert. Had to ask for another two of those to calm my cravings...
I've been a fan of Anthony Bourdain since I was a kid, and being there I couldn't help but think he would've love a cozy place like this :')
So yeah! I would fully recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an honest meal in the big city
PS: the weirdest thing is, the best meal I had in Europe was from a humble Nepali restaurant lost in the streets of Madrid... And I don't regret it! ;)
GO THERE!...
