Kundan — Restaurant in Madrid

As soon as I entered the restaurant I get the vibes from India, the soothing indian classical music in the background, the souvenirs hanging all over the walls of the restaurant and a very warm welcome. I have eaten in many indian restaurants in Sol and Lavapies, but none of them can match the taste of this restaurant, Kundan Indian Restaurant. The appetizers were great, samosa, brinjal pakoda and onion pakoda seasoned with chat masala. The chicken tandoori and the butter naan were absolutely delicious. And don't forget to try some of the desserts. If you aren't alergic to cashews and if you aren't lactose intolerant then I would definitely recommend Gajar ka halwa. Not gonna lie, the food was very good, unfortunately, the service was not. We made a reservation for 5 people and we were acomodated in a 4 people table. Even with the reservation, we had to wait 15 minutes or so to be in the table. The food took almost 40 minutes to be ready, and we did not order anything special, just the daily menu.
