Senza Glutine di Grosso Napoletano — Restaurant in Majadahonda

We had high expectations to come to Grosso. Earlier on today, i was nearby the restaurant and went personally in to choose a table and they were very nice telling me which table they had previously booked. Hence, really looking forward to. Once we arrived to the restaurant, our table was already taken and not even apologies nor acknowledge for what has happened. once seated, we asked for help to pick out the best pizza and also ingredients and to get to know better the pizzas and options to eat. The waiter left us alone twice and once again no apologies. we got really upset and not welcomed for this arrogance and unprofessionalism and he even argued that we should know what to eat for him to able to take the order... on the top of this, he took badly the order and added prociutto cotto when i personally don't like and couldn't ask ever . Instead, i had asked for funghi, so he went back to the pizza and came already with the funghi but we had to say that all pizze were very empty, just a few pieces of food in.. he said no, they were good like that. So, empathy 0. Then, we asked him for extra charge ingredients and he said no.. when he had just added the prociutto. at the end, we said we had one of the most unpleasant meals in our lives to the other waiter already on duty and he could feel us. however, the previous waiter remained very arrogant and rude.

on a separate note, the pizza is almost empty, so not good at all, so disappointing.

to be honest, we don't understand why we were treated like that from the beginning, we will be in contact...

We recently went to Spain to see the family and celebrate my dad´s birthday. My family lives near Majadahonda and they have been recommended to try Grosso Napoletano, so there we went! What a beautiful dinner we had!!

I could not say what was better, the food or the service. From the moment we walked into the restaurant we felt that taking care of the customers is top priority! We were recommended the carpaccio and the capresse avocado as starters to share and none of us were disappointed! Yummy!

My main course was, of course, a pizza. Cheese is my passion, so I went for the Quattro K. I don´t remember to ever before had a tastier 4 cheeses pizza than in Grosso. All cheeses gave their own taste and character to the pizza. ( It happens too often that the stronger cheeses take over the lighter ones )

Tonight I TRIED to have a pizza in Grosso Napoletano in Majadahonda... I got there at 22:00 with my wife and we asked for a table for two. Table situation: 1 table free outside and 3 tables free inside; custumer situation: NONE WAITING or queing; answer from the waiter: sorry I cannot accomodate you since there are not table for two available!!!! When I asked her if was possible to have a table for four or more since NOBODY was waiting the answer was NO!!! This is the most unreal situation ever lived in a restaurant... Just to be clear (I still have problem to accept such a situation) a family of 3 was bounced right after us for the same reason!!! 5 customers lost for a silly table policy...
