Aloha Grill - Restaurant — Restaurant in Marbella

I must say that this was totally different than any other time we went to this place. Apart of the flies that were all over, the waitresses that came and started spraying with Raid toxic spray next to our table and our little baby in the stroller and food on the table. I was like wt.. Sitted next to another table quite close that were talking very loud and we couldn't hear each other.

I always order the same thing here. The duck that was so fatty in some parts and the skin very dry. We got there, been asked if we want bread. Yes sure. Nice, 3 rolls with nice french butter and some garlic sauce. I gave some to my baby and I've asked for some more bread while we were waiting for our food, my partner and his mother were waiting for a chateaubriand that takes a while.

Waitresses asked how many and we just look at each other thinking that if you bring more, bring for all of us without asking how many. I specify, in no moment someone said that is extra charge etc. Surprise on the bill that seemed very expensive for 3 people when only one of us had maybe 2 glasses of wine, about 150 euro the bill. I looked at it, 18 euro for the bread. Are you serious? That was ridiculous. Almost as much as a main course for the cover bread. A very unpleasant experience. I told to the waitresses, this is not normal, you should simply say, we charge the bread. She just lifted up her shoulders and no reply or coming with a solution or saying that next time to know or anything. Is embarrassing honestly. We travel the world and this happened only here. You don't ask for 72 euro for a steak and you charge the second round of bread, for 3 people.i ve worked in hospitality management for years and this is just ridiculous. Was one of our favourite places but if we ll come back ill...

There doesn't seem to be a manager on site to deal with issues. I looked at previous reviews - if something goes wrong, the staff response is inadequate. My husband and were looking forward to enjoying our meal, when as soon as our food arrived, between 8 and 1O flies descended on us. After desperately trying to wave them away, we asked a waiter for assistance. She produced insect spray. We did not want to have poison close to our food and declined. At no time did they offer to move us to a more suitable table indoors, although the restaurant was fairly empty. We ate very fast between waving flies off and asked to speak to the manager in charge. She said it's hot in Marbella and flies are a problem for people ordering fish. It became clear that she was aware of the problem but she had no effective way of dealing with this. Her whole attitude was very unprofessional and we left feeling extremely unhappy at having to pay 85 euros for 2 mains that we had to eat way too...

Our favorite restaurant in Marbella. Everything from the menu that we (or our dinner companions) have tried is delicious. We have been to this restaurant almost a dozen times and it never disappoints. It has an eclectic selection of dishes, starters, fish, meat, international cuisine. It has a lovely outdoor terrace and it's just on the edge of Las Brisas golf course in prime golfing territory. Service is magnificent! You should reserve, just in case. This is one of our few repeat restaurants on the Costa del Sol. Worth...
