Blanco Bar Marbella — Restaurant in Marbella

We have been here before for a drink and snacks but decided to do Sunday lunch best plan ever. The food is incredible all homemade on site so as a Coeliac I feel more confident. We had Ensalada Rusa not like the packaged stuff this had prawns and kind of an extra mayonnaise foam on top. Simple delightful. Main course a shoulder of lamb to share incredibly good too. Too full to have dessert so went back to days later for it. A traditional Spanish custard served as a foam with Bailey's Ice cream. Amazing.. mmm we have another Sunday or 2 while we are here so will be heading back soon for this...

In a world where everyone tries to compete on flash and decor and bling.. Bar Blanco is a real foodie delight . We were not sure what to expect as the entrance and decor is not very impressive . Just wait until the food arrives … delicious home made ‘ mammas cooking ‘ . Great taste , great menu , quick service and incredible attention to detail . Loved the burgers and the croquettes . If you want over priced bling , go to puente Romano … if you want honest to god delicious food in a relaxed unpretentious environment head to bar blanco….. not a footballer or WAG in site . ...

This is a place which deserves to have lots more clients - so please give it a try. The chef is the son of the butcher ( who had his shop in these premises for many, many years) who still supplies the superb meats. The little butcher's shop is now at the rear of Blanco Bar. Also worth a visit for great chickens from the rotisserie and excellent meats. I really recommend trying Blanco Bar for lunch...
