*update- sadly I returned- I asked to add a pizza topping to a plain pasta (this was not allowed apparently. I then asked for a glass of wine- not ONE person was in the entire restaurant (I was outside with the dog in the cold!) I was told they don’t just do drinks and I had to order a takeaway or leave. I feel very disappointed and was already having a bad day which the waitress could clearly see I was stressed. I won’t be returning which is a shame as the first waitress was lovely and so was the food.

Fantastic pizza and even better garlic bread! The restaurant has a lovely cozy atmosphere inside and there is a delightful terrace out front too.

Having La Gazzetta just five minutes from our house is a real treat. This small but welcoming Italian restaurant brings authentic flavors, thanks to chef Carla, whose expertise shines through in every dish. Gonzalo, her apprentice, is learning from the best, and together with the ever-friendly Diana, they make a fantastic team, always warm and attentive.

A wonderful place to just relax and enjoy delicious food and a lovely ambience. My favourite dish was the Pasta Diaviola. Nice and spicy. I also tried the Lasagna which was superb. The girl serving me, her name is Lady from the Dominican Republic, deserves 5 star for her sweet personality and attentive service.The owner definitely must receive 5 stars as well. Always welcoming guests with a big smile straight from the heart. The food experience is delightful, you find that extra touch of elegance, yet elegant and casual.
