Olá Beirut Kitchen — Restaurant in Marbella

Excellent service with a wonderful explanation by a young man who spoke fluent Spanish, English, Russian, German & Arabic in different accents and in all honesty a special thanks to him for putting such a great effort. We ordered Labneh, Hummus, Vine leaves, Kibbeh and Cauliflower. Everything was delicious especially the Labneh, Vine leaves, Kibbeh and the Cauliflower but I personally wouldn't give them full marks on the Hummus as it didn't meet my approval. We also asked for Baklawa & Muhalabiyah which is beautifully prepared and presented plus the portions are very large. Regrettably they couldn't serve me a freshly made Lahem Ajeen لحم عجين which now means I'll have to come back, which I gladly will. I was recommended this place by an acquaintance. Setting was nice, but that’s the only good thing I can say. Food is advertised as authentic Lebanese food, and as someone who’s eaten at plenty Lebanese places (being my favourite cuisine) this restaurant was soo disappointing. The food was below average, and I’m almost certain not freshly cooked, but microwaved - to be honest as soon as I saw the two microwaves stacked in the kitchen I wanted to leg it (microwaves have no place in a restaurant. The hummus was smooth, but the oil coating it was a canola oil variant. Everything was barely warm, and what I’m most shocked about is that the premises doesn’t have a toilet - is this even legal? I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant at all....

I was in Guadalmina visiting some clients when on my travels noticed this small local called Ola Beirut Kitchen so decided to pop in to have a look what was on offer. To my sheet delight i could see a variety of very special Lebanese food dishes that my late Grandmother used to make for me as a child. I could not resist So ordered several different options. The food was served promptly and did not disappoint infact i can even go so far as to say that it was better than what my grandmother used to make. I only wish this local was situated near to where i live as i would probably be eating there every day of the week. Bravo to the owner and her chef, fabulous job!...
