Perla Blanca — Restaurant in Marbella

A wonderful location for restaurant! Nice and quiet but still lively enough with a lot of European guests in the evening. We started with some nice baby squid's with lemon. Luckily we got some Aioli and mayonnaise. It would've been a little boring without! It's not the best I ever tasted but they were fine. We ordered two Lamb chops and they looked really nice and big. They were served with some boring looking vegetables and potatoes in a very unsatisfying sauce :-( We look so much forward to this lamp even though it's very much a fish restaurant we asked before hand if the lamb was good and the waiter said yes! It was one of the worst lamps we ever tasted! That kind of taste and meet is the reason why some people hate eating lamp... :-/ We ate some of the potatoes and I only had a couple of bites of the meet. When the waiter asked if we liked it or not and we said sorry that we didn't like the taste and that was both of us. He said without tasting it that that's the way it should taste!? He didn't offer any compensation or anything else! He said that the sauce should be good but we felt it was just salty and boring. It seems like this restaurant has been around for sometime and they kind of don't care much about service anymore. Even though the waiter seem kind that wasn't a lot of passion to see anywhere. We don't recommend this restaurant to anyone even though the location it's nice it might only be nice during the day if you want a drink...

EDIT: In response to the owner below, no I haven't got the wrong place, there was no reservation because we didn't book in advance, and literally the first thing that happened was as we sat down was we were given the water without ordering it. The fact that your waiting staff didn't tell you about the issue with the food doesn't mean it didn't happen.

..................... Nice location, but the service is terrible. We sat down and were immediately given bread and 5 bottles of water, 3.50 each. No choice in the matter. We asked for a drinks menu three times, each time resulting in a waiter impatiently returning and just asking what we wanted to eat. When we did order food and drinks, they missed out one person's drink. Four times we asked again for the missing drink, and only on the fourth time did we get it. We then waited an hour for the food, during which two more 3.50Euro bottles of water were opened and placed on the table without us asking. When the food finally did arrive, it wasn't what we ordered. We told the waiter, who just sighed and looked at us until we said 'it's fine, we'll eat it anyway'.

After all that, it was pretty terrible anyway. We just wanted to get out of there. Expensive and disappointing.

Five star Perla Blanca Restaurant on Beach. Always the best. Top quality. Fresh selection of fish. Delicious Langostinos. (King Prawn) Mejillones (mussels) Gambas Pil Pil. (Prawns) All fresh & delicious. Excellent selection of wines. Champagne. Fish. Fish . Some limited meat dishes. Spaghetti Bolognese. Chicken Ragu. Tomatoe Soup. Well it is a fish restaurant. We also had the fish soup exquisite. The Langostinos huge 4 presented on plate. Truly worth it. Flavour, taste. The team here Carlos, Lenny,Cairo. To name but a few. Along with their colleague's are so helpful & extremely friendly. The restaurants proprietor & family have it perfect. The kitchen team work hard to ensure your decision on choice of food is met with description on menu. Each year we return here. My sons Jason & Owens favourite restaurant. Equally mine.
