Excellent menu selection, presenation and quality of food. Had late lunch which seems like the same menu as dinner. We shared Cantrbrian Anchovies, Salmon and Avacado Tartar as appetizers and Ibnerian Ham Paella as our main dish. Do not miss the Iberian Ham- it is out of this world! The appetizers were equally thoughtfully and deliciously prepared. We ate inside which offers casual but elegant dining rooms including white table cloths, spotless glassware, and polished utilities. I would have dropped a 1/2 to full service star (NOT FOR FOOD), but the Head Chef unknowingly safed the day, by coming and greeting us at our table. He is so passionate about his craft and the quality of what he offers his guests. Not sure if he shares ownership, but he sure takes on that type of concern for how customers enjoy their meal. Our server was pretty aloof although I thought he was also the owner. He paid little attention to us even though we were just one of four parties dining at the time. Also, I should have asked for the window to the patio be closed where 4 people chained smoked the entire time they were there. We dined at Tages tonight following an outstanding recommendation from one of the staff at Marriott Marabella Beach Resort. We had our best meal so far since arriving in Spain. Our meal started with each of us ordering soup (Cream of Vegetable and Cream of Tomato). Sorry mom, these soups surpassed your special family recipes! We shared the Chateaubriand Grill (beef) served with two special sauces and the meat was done to perfection. The chef has his special brownie recipe paired with ice cream. We are sure to go again...

We had a fantastic family dinner here! The staff, especially the restaurant manager, were incredibly kind and welcoming. The chef even came out several times to explain how the dishes were prepared, which made the experience very personal.
