Easily one of the best beach restaurants I’ve been to in Marbella – and I don’t say that lightly. Dune Beach nails it on every level: location, food, vibe, and service. No gimmicks, no fake glam – just quality done right.

The setting is absolutely gorgeous. Natural dunes, protected area, ocean views, and tasteful décor with macrame parasols and wooden paths. It feels wild, yet curated – the perfect mix. Whether you’re here for a long lunch, a glass of chilled wine, or just to unwind – this is the place.

Food? Spot on. The focaccia was crisp, rich, and loaded with real flavor – not your usual show-off plate, but something that actually delivers. The salad? Fresh, crunchy, perfectly seasoned – and satisfying. You can tell the kitchen respects ingredients and doesn’t try to overcomplicate things.

Drinks were just as good. Ice-cold rosé, classic margarita done properly – dry, refreshing, with just the right kick. No sugary shortcuts here.

Service? Sharp and relaxed at the same time. Attentive without being intrusive. They know what they’re doing, and it shows.

Bottom line: Dune Beach isn’t trying to impress – it just does. Great food, calm atmosphere, real taste. A proper beachside spot where you leave satisfied, not just with a full stomach, but with the feeling that everything worked exactly as it should.

Highly recommend – and yeah,...

Such a beautiful beach club with a calm and relaxing atmosphere, easily one of our favorite spots during our three-week European vacation! Marbella was our stop around the halfway mark, and spending time here really helped us unwind and reset.

The beach beds are very comfortable, and the facilities are modern and well-maintained. The showers are a great touch, though during our visit, one of them (closest to our area) wasn’t working so we had to walk to the other end. Minor inconvenience, but still worth noting.

Service was friendly and attentive, and the food and drinks were excellent, fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented.

But what truly sets this place apart is the ocean itself. It honestly felt like a dream — the water was crystal clear, calm, and warm, with soft sand beneath your feet. I’ve swum in beaches across Greece, Italy, and the South of France, but this one was truly different. It felt like a natural infinity pool.

Unlike some other beach clubs in Marbella that lean toward a rowdy party vibe, The Dune offered a more serene and elevated experience, perfect for relaxing, swimming, and soaking up the sun in peace.

Highly recommend if you’re visiting Marbella and want a beach club that combines comfort, beauty, and...

Couldn’t recommend this place enough

We managed to bag one of the large beach beds on a very busy Sunday, and stayed most of the day, having both breakfast on the beach and a lovely lunch in the restaurant

Price of the bed included a bottle or rose, and given that it was pretty good value. Fruit platter and baked yogurt were both excellent

Headed up into the main space for lunch and had a really great meal. One of the best burrata salads I’ve ever had, amazing giant prawns in hot oil, some labneh and breads (one bum note was the Caesar salad, which had been ‘reimagined’ to the point of being unrecognisable)

The look and overall vibe of the place is pretty much perfect; it’s fairly high end, and probably the most luxe option on this particular strip of beach. There’ll be more exclusive options elsewhere I’m sure, but it suited to a tee

All the staff (and they are ample in number) were super friendly and brilliant with our kids, the music was the standard beach/balearic/chilled background house stuff, place is immaculately...

Traveling through Spain 5 weeks and this is a find! Fab attentive service (yes did the courteous call /reserve table). Lovely seating with sand dunes and sea view. I enjoyed the upscale restaurant design and music. Drinks were innovative and delicious. The peach goat cheese salad was outstanding as was the bread selection. My vongole main was outstanding. Partner’s tuna was huge and tasty. Ended up with a special bartender drink…delish and baklava dessert that was unique. All in all 3 hours of enjoying the Mediterranean sun and having one of the best lunches of this trip. I saw some negative reviews and this is not the place to have a water and a hamburger. More upscale locals and less bargain tourist. Also this is not regional cooking but a blend of styles which is welcome from the usual fare offered everywhere. The prices reflect the great experience.
