LUUMA Beach Marbella — Restaurant in Marbella

Amazing place to go for a meal or even just a drink. It's right next to the beach so you have a great view of the sea, the decoration is quite nice on the eye and the ambience can be romantic for couples. Great for groups, family and even on your own. Very clean the staff wear masks and clean the table for each new customer. The tables are well represented for high quality service. The food is to die for, it ranges from sea food, chicken , duck, chicken wings and plenty of specials too.very relaxing music at the background, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming... They have couches, tables and even high chairs to sit. The bar is full of liquor alcohol, they make really good cocktails. Lots of beer to choose from and a good wine list ... I recommend the pulled pork burger it was juicy & cooked to perfection. It was fast service and they even had toothpicks for after the meal. Before entering the restaurant they have hand sanitizer to clean yourself before going in. There toilets are clean and when we went no line to go in and do your business... on the menu they had a simple options to choose from, not so complicated and there was even a kids menu ... The waiter brought a specials menu on a board which was also simple and easy to Look at. The staff were very friendly and helpful and even helped us to choose some dish's from the menu. All together is was very pleasant and felt like we were been looked after by the restaurant staff. Also the coffee here is also good especially after a few drinks of wine, the coffee really helped to wake up. There is also WiFi if u want to connect online. There are sunbeds and umbrellas to relax on the beach , you can order food & drinks on the beach during the day. If your looking to come and dine here I recommend you come in the evening. The reason why I gave 4 stars as rather OK then perfect is because this restaurant specialises rather in day cisits for lunch then the night dining out. The whole interior design is a great combination of magnificent rustic, unique and wonderfully selected wood made style with glass separator when the weather is breezy, the open fire is nice and warm so I'd say at breezy night is a class. The waiting staff has perfect english skills and it's great for groups and single eaters. Wine list is fab. Cocktails are great. Parking places available outside and on the street like Avenida de Berlin. The entry of a restaurant has specially dedicated area for us smoking habit people. The reason I gave mark 3 is rather good then great coz of menu. To my extend it misses more dish varieties rather then just two italian dishes, 2 Asian fusion dishes, one vegetarian dish etc., for such a great restaurant you would expect menu to be wider in choice. Taking into tge account that they are new and that this Belgian family working very gard for their business I would give them a go again. Also place is great for daily eating as design at day time us even nicer. Well guys, visit them you won't be disappointed, but don't expect huge menu variety list. Enjoy...

I was excited to try Luma as I heard the food and drinks were good. Went with the family we have two kids and our friends who also have two kids under age of 10. I would seriously warn people that this is in no way a family friendly restaurant as some of the staff as well as the older crowd going there were extremely bothered by even the sight of children even though they were quiet and playing together behaving and simply playing in the sand. They got told to bugged off by the staff several times even though we were eating there and it’s a PUBLIC BEACH. So the kids weren’t welcome in the restaurant and got told off also on the beach. The parking is also a big issue here as the road are very old a narrow and there’s no restaurant parking. Just have to drive around the tiny roads till you hopefully find something. Never in Marbella has a place ever made us feel so unwelcome. It’s honestly never happened before even when we’ve with many more kids dining. Now I know why we were the only one with kids there.
